"Proposing every day" man is hailed as romantic hero. We say he's creepy.

He proposed every day for a year. It’s not romantic, it’s creepy.

In what has now become a daily occurrence, a man’s proposal is going viral. Yawn. But this one is special. It already has over 10,000,000 views and the guy is being hailed as the ultimate “romantic” by everyone.

But everyone is wrong. If your husband-to-be makes a video of him proposing to you while smiling creepily every single day for a year, that is a RED FLAG my friend.

Just watching the video provides a very detailed and thorough explanation of the incredibly high level of creepiness that one man can possess, but the video goes for 15 minutes. And that is 15 loooong minutes of one man smiling creepily every single day of the year.

So here is the video, but let me summarise below [post continues after video].

It starts with a man talking to his previous self a year before. What? That sounds a bit self indulgent you say? You would be right!

Hi me, it’s me! Me me me. This is about me.
Oh hello me! It’s me! I like me!

Then, the man holds up a whiteboard that proposes to his girlfriend each day of the year. As the video title promises.

“Hmm, this needs more me.”

Which is pretty much the gist of the entire video.

Oh except when he starts singing along to the words of “Marry You” by Bruno Mars that is playing over the top of the video.

That is kind of impressive actually. How did he sync up the words? Still. CREEP.

Then things begin to escalate.

Creepy man starts filming his girlfriend in a creepy way. Like when she’s sleeping.

Then he starts filming her while he silently watches from afar.

He eventually gets to the proposal part I suppose. Honestly I was so put off by his creepy smile and stalkerish ways I couldn’t focus on it.

And that’s it. A creepy video of a self-indulgent man. Oh and there happens to be an overshadowed future wife in there too at some point.

I believe we can take one thing out of this video, though. There is a fine line between romantic and creepy, and that line is usually crossed with the help of a camera filming someone without their knowledge or consent. Take note, “romantics”.
