Tori and Jack were MAFS' most controversial couple. They just announced their split.

After one year of dating, Married At First Sight's Jack Dunkley and Tori Adams have parted ways.

The pair announced the decision in a joint Instagram statement, saying:

"If you have been following our journey, you know we have always been authentic and true to ourselves. We have invited you in and brought you along for the wild ride.

"However, today we come to you with heavy hearts. As of a few weeks ago we have decided to end our romantic relationship. We remain the best of friends and still care for and respect one another deeply."

The MAFS duo added that they are "so grateful to have shared so many wonderful experiences together" and they will "cherish them forever".

"We thank our families for their unconditional love and support. We wish to express our heartfelt gratitude for all the love and support that you guys have shown us throughout.

"With love, Tori & Jack xox."

The MAFS couple, who met on season 11 of the reality show, found themselves in the thick of controversy while on our screens.

The couple's relationship was a slow burn, as they took their time getting to know each other. But among the other MAFS Australia contestants, the couple's stagnated progress became the subject of scepticism.

Then, of course, there was the controversial dinner party moment when Jack said that fellow contestant Lauren Dunn should be "muzzled" — which prompted understandable outrage from viewers.

For her part, Tori also found herself in a series of dramatic scenes with her friend-turned-foe, Lauren.

Are Tori Adams and Jack Dunkley from Married at First Sight Australia still together?

No, Jack and Tori from MAFS announced their split in March 2025 in a joint statement, assuring fans they remained the "best of friends".

The news of their breakup came just two months after the couple spoke to Mamamia about their relationship, sharing how it had progressed after the show.

"Our relationship went from Married at First Sight, living together for 10 weeks for a TV show, to spending four hours a day on FaceTime, [and then] when the show was over, to moving in together," Jack told Mamamia in January.

"Our connection grew exponentially once we were planted back into normality and living our lives. We have become very in sync living together, navigating our careers, fitness schedules, beach dates and quality time," the personal trainer said.

"Tori is, hands down, the best partner I have ever had and I'm extremely grateful."

Jack admitted that some lessons were learnt from the couple's tumultuous experience on MAFS.

"I believe adversity makes you stronger. Having the unfortunate journey on MAFS, [due] to NO fault of our own (minus a couple moments of poor judgement), has made us an indestructible couple," he said.

"We had to learn extremely quickly to trust, love and respect each other under immense pressure, so continuing our relationship in the real world has been a breeze."

Where are Tori Adams and Jack Dunkley from Married at First Sight Australia now?

Before their split, Jack and Tori from MAFS were living together on the Gold Coast, with Tori relocating from Melbourne to be with the personal trainer back in May 2024.

In January 2025, Jack told us the couple were on the same page in terms of their lifestyle and goals.

"We share the same work ethic and ambitious nature for setting up our future the way we choose, and to constantly support each other through thick and thin," he said.

"Tori and I still share ridiculous banter daily, and continue to live, love and laugh."

Since their breakup, it is unclear whether Tori will move back to Melbourne.

As for the latest season of MAFS, before it premiered, Jack confessed he would be watching it "from a different lens".

"But will have the popcorn ready all the same," he told Mamamia. "We wish everyone for season 12 all the best."
