1. Ex-Married at First Sight contestant says he knows exactly why Sam Ball didn’t contact Elizabeth for a week.

When Sam Bell left his wife Lizzie the day after they married, to attend his ex-girlfriend’s mum’s funeral, at first it was understandable. But after he didn’t contact his wife for five days and ignored Lizzie’s voicemail, people were mad.

But according to Telv Williams, who married Sarah Roza in last year’s season of Married at First Sight, we shouldn’t be so quick to judge Sam, as his control over the situation, Telv thinks, would have been minimal.

As reported by News Limited, Telv, well acquainted with the behind-the-scenes happenings of the reality TV series, said on his Instagram Stories after Wednesday night’s episode that Sam ghosting Lizzie would have been the producers’ doing.

“I can guarantee you that the producers would have told him he wasn’t allowed to make any contact with his wife because you’re not meant to talk to them,” Telv told his Instagram followers.

“If you’re not around each other they don’t want you to talk to them when you’re not on camera. So don’t be too harsh to Sam, he’s done nothing wrong.”

“F**k you experts!” he finished his rant.

But before we let Sam completely off the hook, it is also important to remember that Sam lied to Lizzie saying he didn’t have a voicemail, when in fact he did.

Randi Zuckerberg, the sister of founder and CEO of Facebook Mark Zuckerberg, has slammed her brother’s billion-dollar company for it’s lack of support for women.

Randi began working for Facebook in 2004, but tells CNN she didn’t always love the workplace.

“I hated being the only woman in almost every room that I was in for 10 straight years,” she told the publication. “And I always thought, you know, gosh, I want to be part of the solution, not continue to be part of the problem.”

Explaining her decision to leave the company in 2011, Zandi said: “I think maybe I need to step outside of Silicon Valley and really understand where we’re losing women and where we’re losing girls in this funnel.”

She explains she “desperately” wishes to have equal representation in the workplace, and says, “I can’t understand why, after 15 years, it’s changed so little.”

3. Salma Hayek has shared a kickarse photo of her grey hairs.

In a world full of filters and airbrushing, photos of celebrities sans all the extra stuff is super refreshing.

Enter Salma Hayek.

The 52-year-old Mexican American actress showed her 8.9 million Instagram followers her natural hair, greys and everything.

This brilliant Instagram post reminded us all that ageing is a beautiful thing, which was, as expected, very well received by Hayek’s followers.

“When inner beauty radiates on the outside!” one Instagram follower wrote.

“I know everybody says it but…. You are INCREDIBLY BEAUTIFUL!!” said another.

4. The biggest Married at First Sight spoiler so far has been revealed.

Attention MAFS fans, for what’s coming may be a spoiler just about all of us saw coming.

Sam and Elizabeth are no more. That is, if the pair were ever even something to begin with.

Well sure, they’re “married”, but after Sam’s many neglectful stints, any viewer would be almost certain any existing spark between the two has been well and truly put out.

According to New Idea, Sam is “Facebook official” with a woman named Akila Ahmunett.

But to keep things between them under wraps, Sam has been going by the name “Roman Winston” on Facebook just to throw us all off the scent. Better luck next time, buddy!

“Roman” has shared several photographs with Ahmunett on this undercover profile where the two are pictured cuddling, kissing, holding hands – all the good stuff.

We hope Elizabeth is okay with all of this, and something tells us she’s doing just fine.

5. Inside the rumour Hayden Panettiere barely gets to see her daughter.

Hayden Panettiere‘s four-year-old daughter Kaya is reportedly being raised by her dad Wladimir Klitschko in his native Ukraine, 10,000km away from Los Angeles, where Panettiere resides.

According to a ‘source’ who spoke to US Weekly, this means the actress reportedly “never gets to see her”.

The parenting arrangement, the source said, has the Nashville star heartbroken, as she jets over to Europe as much as possible in an effort to visit the little girl since the couple’s split last year.

Said ‘source’ told the magazine: “She knows the child being with her is not best [for Kaya right now]. It’s a sad situation.”

“It’s heartbreaking and challenging,” they said.

But there are always two sides to a rumour, and Hayden’s new boyfriend Brian Hickerson has told Access; “Hayden is actually on family vacation right now with her daughter and the Champ, so don’t believe everything you read. She’s a great mum.”
