1. “I just felt like an idiot.” MAFS’ Ryan Gallagher opens up about how he coped after Davina Rankin cheated on him.

It was the cheating scandal that rocked season five of Married At First Sight and had us shamelessly watching at the edge of our seats. Yes, we’re talking about the time Davina Rankin cheated on her ‘husband’ Ryan Gallagher with fellow contestant Dean Wells.

Years on, Ryan has more to say about the on-screen affair.

On last night’s episode of  I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!, the 31-year-old opened up to his jungle campmates about having to remain on the show with Davina for a week, knowing full well she had cheated on him.

“I had to take her to my parent’s place. I’ve only introduced four girls to my family,” said Ryan.

“I didn’t tell mum and dad what happened. I knew they would treat her different, so I left it.”

Ryan then explained that before he could tell his dad the truth, Davina told Ryan’s mum her side of the story.

“She [Davina] told me mum. She started crying and everything”‘ he added.

“That’s hilarious,” laughed Charlotte Crosby when she heard the story.

But celebrity chef, Miguel Maestre, seemed a little more shocked.

“I like Ryan. I feel sorry he had to go through that experience,” he later said during the show.

2. Vanessa Hudgens and Austin Butler have apparently broken up and Twitter isn’t happy about it.

Vanessa Hudgens and her beau, Austin Butler, have broken up after dating for nearly nine years.

The Disney star apparently met Butler while she was seeing her High School Musical co-star, Zac Efron in 2005, and the pair officially started dating in 2010.

Unfortunately, on Tuesday a source shared, “Vanessa and Austin are officially broken up, and Vanessa has been telling those close to her about the breakup.”

Although it’s sad that their love is dead, the outrage from fans on Twitter is quite comical. Especially, those that are convinced she will reunite with Efron.

3. “Look who we had tea with today!” Meghan Markle made a surprise appearance in Vancouver.

Meghan Markle has made her first public appearance in Canada since she and Prince Harry announced they are stepping down as senior members of the royal family.

She made an impromptu appearance at the Downtown Eastside Women’s Centre, which aims to provide a safe place, meals and counselling for disadvantaged women and children.

A photo uploaded to their Facebook today shows Markle smiling with the volunteers and workers from the centre.

The caption says, “Look who we had tea with today! The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, visited to discuss issues affecting women in the community.”

Although there is now speculation that Vancouver might be the place the Duke and Duchess might settle down, nothing has been confirmed.

4. Oh. Sia just admitted she messaged Diplo for “no-strings sex”.

In an interview with GQ, Australian singer-songwriter Sia has opened up about her love for Diplo, and it’s safe to say she’s a big fan of the American DJ.

The pair have known each other for over a decade, releasing an album together alongside Labrinth just last year.

But it looks like their working relationship was tested at times, with Sia telling GQ: “much of our relationship is just being spent trying not to have sex so that we wouldn’t ruin our business relationship.”

But it doesn’t stop there.

“This year I wrote him a text, and I said, ‘Hey, listen, you’re like one of five people that I’m sexually attracted to, and now that I’ve decided to be single for the rest of my life and I just adopted a son, I don’t have time for a relationship… If you’re interested in some no-strings sex, then hit me up’,” she said.

Well, you gotta shoot your shot, right?

5. A DIY straightener, plus 2 other I’m A Celeb beauty tricks that are actually kind of genius.

Raise your hand if you’ve ever read a beauty article about what products you’d take if you were stranded on a desert island? Yep, us too.

Whether or not you’re planning to go on Survivor anytime soon, the question remains: how would you fare for weeks on end without your regular beauty routine if you were dropped, say, into the South African jungle?

For some, this would be the least concerning part of being in said jungle. Others might struggle. Thankfully, the 2020 contestants on I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! have you covered should you ever find yourself in such a dire situation.

You see, in all their free time sitting around camp, a few of them have come up with some pretty nifty jungle beauty hacks. From hair straightening to how to fill in your eyebrows, keep scrolling for our thoughts on whether these tips would stack up in the real world.

P.S. Full transparency, two of these beauty hacks are… questionable. The third involves a beauty tool we think everyone should own.

1. A desperate but adequate hack for doing your eyebrows.

In Tuesday night's episode, Australian entertainer Rhonda Burchmore OAM came up with a technique to add colour and definition to her eyebrows, sans a handy eyebrow pencil or a nice tint.

That technique? Applying a bit of charcoal from the camp's fire pit with a stick. The result was more obvious eyebrows, which in a jungle situation, is the best one could hope for.

Obviously, there are a few issues with drawing on your eyebrows with a stick and charcoal.

Firstly, ouch. You'd need to be careful in selecting a stick that won't scratch the heck out of your face, but you gotta do what you gotta do. Secondly, not everyone suits a bold, black, ashy brow.

Other than that, we don't see any major issues with swapping a brow powder for charcoal straight from the fire when forced to. There is, however, a better way to apply the product in the jungle, which we'll get to a bit later...
