Mamamia recaps MAFS: This man is the literal devil.

Keen for all the latest Married At First Sight gossip? Keep an eye on our MAFS hub here.

It's that time in the experiment again. That's right… the final vows are upon us. And boy, are there some twists and turns in this episode.

To kick things off, and as a surprise to no one, Beth and Teejay decide not to go to final vows, because honestly, what's the point?

After a tense dinner party confrontation that led to Teejay writing 'leave' at last week's commitment ceremony, there's no doubt about it — Teejay is just not that into Beth (as the experts would say).

"I deserve to be with someone who wants me and is sure about me," Beth says.

"Makes sense," Teejay replies. Really, Teejay? That's all she gets?

Beth cries, saying that it's sad to see how their relationship has ultimately ended. I feel you, girl! But it's onwards and upwards from here.

Moving down the hall, we have Jacqui and Ryan, the most confusing couple in the experiment.

Last week, the couple decided to move forward with their relationship, despite Jacqui previously saying that Ryan is a door and that she can't make him a chair… whatever that means. But this week, Jacqui finally comes clean to Ryan, telling him that she exchanged phone numbers with Rory on her date during final test week.

"You know that's not okay," Ryan responds. "It's made me angry."

In a confessional, Jacqui proceeds to recall all the great things between her and Ryan, including their photoshoot potential, it seems?

"We've got great photos. We can do a lingerie photoshoot together," Jacqui says. And honestly, in classic Jacqui-fashion, it's a little confusing. But look, we'll just have to tune in tomorrow to see what wacky twist this couple is going to give us next.

So begins the official final vows for our couples.

Adrian and Awhina… where to even begin?

Before final vows, Awhina is mulling over her decision. She's aware of the issues she and Adrian have, but she's just so attracted to him.

"It's like the devil comes out when he smiles at me," Awhina says. Yeah, he's the devil, that's for sure.

She calls her twin sister, Cleo, to get her perspective. Once again, Queen Cleo is the voice of reason, perfectly articulating everything we've been screaming at our TV screens all season long.

"Do I think he's good enough for you? No," Cleo says bluntly. "Would you be happy — if you had a daughter — for your daughter to be with someone like Adrian?" she asks.

Awhina doesn't respond, but I think we all know the answer to that question.

At final vows, Adrian and Awhina both acknowledge their chemistry and attraction to each other. Ultimately, though, they decide to part ways given the issue with long-distance. Finally, this nightmare is coming to an end.

PSYCH! It's not over. Adrian smiles creepily at Awhina, and she starts to soften.

"Don't look at me like that, Adrian," she says, before asking, "Do you want to spend time with me tonight?"

STOP. STOP IT. I've had enough. We've had enough. Haven't these two had enough? It's enough, honestly. But apparently it's not, because just minutes after saying that it's the end of the road for them, Awhina and Adrian are back together and leaving the experiment as a couple. I'm confused. The producers are confused. It's a mess. But you know what? Best of luck to them. Maybe Awhina will be able to get Adrian to take some accountability out in the real world, something he rarely did during his time on MAFS.

"Awhina's a lucky girl," Adrian says, and I swear, I almost barfed. Justice for Awhina.

In better news, Jamie and Dave are back and, despite the little (or pretty huge) hiccup they had a few weeks back, we're happy to see them happy again.

They both acknowledge that they've been through ups and downs in the experiment, but say that ultimately, they're not ready to let go just yet.

"My heart tells me I'm not ready to let go of you and everything we've built together," Jamie says.

Dave hugs her and picks her up, spinning her around. Love them so much.

Finally, we've got Carina and Paul. Arguably one of the strongest couples during the first half of the experiment, things have really taken a turn for this couple.

Before heading off to final vows, Paul visits Carina to have a little chat about where they stand, and folks, it's not looking good.

"I just wish that she would have been able to tell the rest of the group also how amazing I've been and all the things I've done for her as well," Paul says in a confessional. "Hopefully she'll want to receive my apology a bit better than last night."

Someone needs to explain accountability to this man, because the entitlement is infuriating. In what world does Carina need to speak about what an amazing husband he is after he betrayed her? Make it make sense, Paul.

Next, Paul attempts to convince Carina that he's committed to her.

"If it makes you feel better, I am bloody so attracted to you," he says, adding that he tells "all the boys" about it.

Carina doesn't think Paul is coming across as sincere, and honestly, same. Paul, however, is convinced that he has managed to reassure Carina. He says that he reckons they can get past his "silly decision" to go on that date.

Truly, if I hear this man refer to his decision to go on a date with another woman while simultaneously planning his future with Carina as "silly" one more time… I might combust.

Anyway, we'll have to wait until the next episode to see what fate awaits Carina and Paul.

And that's a wrap for this week's MAFS chaos. One couple gone and two culminating in a happy (or something) ending. Tomorrow's episode is already looking saucy, and there appears to be a twist coming for Jacqui and Ryan's ending.

Drama aside, let's just hope we get to finally see the happy ending we deserve in Rhi and Jeff.
