Mamamia recaps MAFS: Put this man in the bin.

Keen for all the latest Married At First Sight gossip? Keep an eye on our MAFS hub here.

Married at First Sight is back and this episode is one of the most appalling episodes that has ever aired. And that's saying something for MAFS.

Like, I'm actually horrified by what we just witnessed. But before we jump into all that, the contestants are having a whole lot of sexy time this week. Well, except for Jake who chose to leave the experiment in a huff and a puff.

Carina and Frenchie have gotten kinky and they're thriving. Jamie and Hot Dave had "a lot of fun" and Rhi and Jeff are doing, something?? (This couple is none of my business).

The contestants are forced to eye-gaze and share sex secrets. Jamie once had sex in the zoo underneath an aviary of voyeuristic endangered birds, and we would expect nothing less.

More importantly, Sierah and British Billy are not fu***ing. Neither are Morena and Tony, even if she did 'down a bottle of wine all on her own,' as Tony mentions. Sorry, but that's a Wednesday for me. These two are just housemates. Moving on!

Jacqui and Ryan are still fighting. He doesn't listen! She doesn't compromise! I don't care!

"I'm not here to fix you," he actually tells her. Every word this man says makes my faith in the future of humanity dwindle.

Awhina and Adrian are still fighting too. He doesn't empty the bins! He rants about how 'dumb' she is for her valid criticism.

At an intimacy week workshop with Alessandra, the men swap their sex stories. Well, except Tony and British Billy who politely dodge any questions about sex.

But then uh oh, Ryan has decided to talk. Relaying an argument with Jacqui about the photo-ranking challenge, he says through muffled laughter "The crazy eyes came out."

As the other men look stunned, he added "Try living with her!"

The way this man used Jake's insult against his own partner is disgraceful. Hot Dave and British Billy weren't thrilled, although I do notice that they said… well, nothing.

Just when I had already chucked Ryan firmly in the bin, he says something truly disgraceful about Jacqui. He tells the men and Alessandra in graphic terms about a sex act that Jacqui performed on him.

"It didn't go the way either of us wanted but I've got to say, she gives awesome [insert sex act]. It kept getting better every round," he says with a disgusting grin on his face. Looking shaken, Alessandra quickly tried to change the subject.

There is so much wrong with what Ryan just did.

Firstly, the way he qualified what he was saying about their failing relationship by adding an explicit description of their sex life was deeply patronising. As if Jacqui needs his approval or validation?

He spent the session listing her physical and personal flaws and thought that adding 'she was good in bed' would balance it out, as if this is how a woman's worth can be measured.

Secondly, Ryan knows this is being filmed for a TV show for an episode that Jacqui's friends, family and coworkers will watch. This was an attempt to humiliate her — plain and simple.

Remember: this came from the same man who feigned concern for Jacqui's 'dignity' on their wedding day when he dropped her on her head. To use Ryan's own hypocritical words: "She doesn't deserve that. She deserves a little more dignity than that."

And finally, Jacqui did not consent to any of this sexually explicit information being shared with a group of men for a segment aired on a TV show. This is a complete violation of her privacy and sexual agency.

But there's another layer to this scene that I found particularly disturbing: No one except Alessandra said anything to Ryan.

Dave and Billy might have been outraged privately, but they said nothing publicly. This is a story that women know all too well: why must the onus always fall on us to hold men accountable?

Back at their apartments, Hot Dave, Jeff and British Billy rush to tell their partners exactly what Ryan said about Jacqui.

Hot Dave does, at least, acknowledge that he should have said something. "I'm annoyed with myself that I didn't pull him up," he reflects. NO SH*T.

Jamie plans to hold Ryan accountable at the dinner party. BURN HIM TO THE GROUND.

She tells an appalled Carina later on, which suggests Frenchie didn't think Ryan's comments were something worth telling his partner. We will remember this, Frenchie.

"The baton keeps getting passed on from sh**ty husbands," Jamie astutely says. She's so right. Just when we get rid of Eliot, Tim and Jake, Ryan says 'hold my homebrew.'

Back to Morena and Tony, he is about to tell her about his day when she cuts him off to summarise the entire contents of a book. As someone that never wants to hear a quote from a book ever, I can relate.

These two make my insides cry.

I don't know if it's that these two bring out the worst in each other or if Morena is just a raging narcissist, but the vibes have never been worse.

Tony blows up at her after she keeps quoting her book. He admits that he was 'rude' but attempts to explain his version of the events. She acts childish and doesn't engage in anything he says.

Ultimately, Tony announces he needs 'time off' and goes home to Wollongong. Morena is too busy reading another quote from her book to notice he's left.

I think they're both at fault here: Morena has a lot of trauma she's processing from her ex and she understandably has triggers. Tony has to be more sensitive to these triggers and more transparent about how he's actually feeling about Morena.

Anyways… she goes off at him at the dinner party. Fingers crossed Ryan gets dragged even harder, but if my faith in these men is anything to go by, I don't have high hopes.
