Cheating and a twist ending: The MAFS producers told us exactly what's coming.

Keen for all the latest Married At First Sight gossip? Keep an eye on our MAFS hub here.

Married at First Sight is well and truly underway for another year of drama, toxic behaviour, and a few love stories sprinkled in for good measure.

So what exactly does MAFS have in store for 2025? Well, it's your lucky day.

Ahead of the new season, we picked the minds of expert John Aiken and executive producers John Walsh and Alexandra Spurway.

And oh boy, they shared some spicy spoilers. Enjoy!

Another MAFS cheating scandal is coming.

The MAFS team hinted there will be a cheating storyline unfolding this season. Yep, another one.

"The definition of cheating is an important topic [this season], such as how you define cheating in your relationship," Spurway said.

"It's so individualistic and everyone's different — whether it's emotional or physical [cheating]. People's boundaries are tested, and you'd be surprised at how far people are willing to go."

Other topics set to be explored this year are the influence of TikTok on how the contestants approach dating, as well as gender roles in relationships.

"The influence of social media on dating and relationships is a recurring topic. TikTok has a big influence on their perspectives, which are quite extreme," Aiken noted.

"You have warrior mindsets or tradwives: very traditional approaches coming onto the show, which is tapping into that zeitgeist that's out there at the moment."

Get ready to be shocked by these two MAFS contestants.

While a lot of the season has been dominated by controversial grooms Eliot and Tim, it turns out that two different contestants are set to get a bigger reaction.

"Jacqui and Ryan are unlike anyone we've ever met before," Spurway teased.

"Every time you see them on screen, you can't look away. It's either gonna be a car crash or it's gonna be brilliantly funny or incredibly emotional."

John Aiken developed a special affinity for Jacqui.

"Jacqui is very, very layered. She is unpredictable, and she wears her heart on a sleeve. Sometimes she'll be laughing and then immediately [start] crying. She has ideas about things and lives a lot inside her head," Aiken said.

"It's very interesting seeing her as she tries to manage a relationship, not only with her partner but also with the group."

Ryan is set to be particularly divisive. "Ryan will be polarising with his views and how he navigates the experiment and his relationship," Spurway said.

"I wouldn't say it's refreshing, but it's different."

As expected, Jamie will be the hero we needed.

"Jamie is what we call 'the people's champion'," Walsh said.

"It's very important for the audience to have someone who's their voice because you're sitting at home, you can't affect the action, you can yell at the TV screen. But Jamie is someone who says everything you want to say."

A dream couple will take a turn for the worst.

Apparently, this year's most perfect couple will fall apart. Could it be Carina and Paul? Or maybe, Jamie and Dave?

"There's a couple, the most perfect couple you could think of, that will shock you," Spurway said.

"It makes you understand that even the most perfect-looking couple on paper — they have flaws. [One] couple in particular that you think are the next Cam and Jules goes in a completely different way."

A big twist is coming at the end of MAFS.

The surprises will keep coming with a whole new challenge facing the contestants, with the introduction of 'final test week' which is a world first for Married at First Sight.

"The twist at the end of the final test week, and some of their choices around that final test week are very surprising," Aiken said.

"It's never been done before on the MAFS experiment. There is a choice that is made by each individual, and that choice impacts their relationship dramatically."

Oop! Bring it on.
