1.”He was the biggest flog of them all.” MAFS’ Michael’s epic rant about his male co-stars.

Married At First Sight may have ended over two weeks ago, but Michael Goonan is back in the headlines again. And this time it’s because of his very epic (and very public) rant about his male co-stars.

In a Facebook Live interview with KOTNmedia on Friday, Michael called out three of his fellow MAFS grooms for their behaviour during and after the show. And he certainly did not hold back.

“The biggest flog of the TV thing was Johnny [Jonethen]. He was so fake the whole time, it wasn’t funny. He was sitting on the fence so much he was getting splinters on his a**,” Michael said.

Yikes. 

Michael went on to claim that Jonethen wasn’t partnered with his ideal woman on the show, but refused to be honest with his on-screen wife Connie.

The 28-year-old also shared his thoughts on Steve, who he said was “alright” but (like the rest of Australia) didn’t agree with the way he treated his partner Mishel.

He did, however, say some positive things about a few of his MAFS co-stars.

Michael shared he's still close to Ivan and praised him for being "brave, real and down to earth".

He also shouted out Mikey for being honest and hard-working. "He's a pretty boy, but he's honest. He's a good sort."

So there we have it, it seems Michael isn't too fond of some of his MAFS co-stars and I have now written the word "flog" 546 times.   ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

2. "Stop talking." The Project 'joke' that landed Tommy Little in trouble with the producers.

Comedian Tommy Little is no stranger to cracking an inappropriate gag, or seven, from behind The Project desk. After all, his job is to make us laugh in between the news headlines of the day.

But in a new interview, the stand-up comic and radio presenter currently in isolation like the rest of us, shared his jokes don't always fly with the Network 10 show producers.

Speaking to comedian Nazeem Hussain on the podcast Survivor's Guide to Coronavirus, Little told a charming story of the time he got in trouble for talking about Chlamydia on live TV.

"You know we have earpieces in on The Project right? I came off the back of a news story and the title was ‘Clap for carers’ and it was people coming out of their house and clapping," he said to Hussain, before explaining he'd been told by producers to lighten things up after a few coronavirus news-heavy segments.

"I made a joke and I said: ‘Oh thank God guys, it’s so nice that that’s what that story was about because when I saw the headline ‘Clap for carers’ I thought we had to get the clap to help carers out but all that’s going to do is exacerbate the toll on an already strained healthcare system’."

Straight away, Little said the producers kindly asked him to "stop taking".

Ah well, you win some and you lose some, right?

3. Kyle Sandilands has been 'approached' to be an expert on next year's MAFS and GOD HELP US ALL.

For an unknown reason, radio host Kyle Sandilands is reportedly being considered for an expert role on Married At First Sight and goodness, Channel Nine really has given up hope of this show having anything to do with A) science and B) love - haven't they?

Speaking on KIIS FM's Kyle and Jackie O Show, Sandilands explained he was reading an article on the weekend that reported fans of MAFS wanted the shock-jock to replace psychologist John Aiken as an expert on the show.

"John Ibrahim rings me up and goes, ‘Hey! I see in the paper that MAFS want you to go on that show and be the new relationship expert’," Kyle said. “Some article that came out during the week," Sandilands told his co-host Jackie 'O' Henderson.

"[It] said that there’s been an overwhelming call out for me to replace John as the relationship expert on MAFS, right? And I just thought oh, no one’s actually asked me anything , just more lies from the newspaper. Don’t worry about it."

But a friend of his then called to explain he knew a person who worked for the production company responsible for MAFS and had asked him if Kyle would be interested.

"He said, ‘Listen. I’ve had a friend from the production company reach out, pretty high up and say, would he do it and is he signed to Channel Seven?’. And I said, ‘No I’m not signed to Channel Seven and yeah, I would look at it’," Kyle admitted.

"And they said, well look they love the way you and Jackie talk to the [MAFS] contestants… So they’ve thought maybe I should be the relationship expert on there."

4. Oh. Princess Anne had some interesting things to say about young people (Harry and Meghan) in her new profile.

Princess Anne, Queen Elizabeth's only daughter, has some slight critiques of the younger generation of royals and, look, we don't want to presume she is talking about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle but... she's definitely talking about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. 

"I don’t think this younger generation probably understands what I was doing in the past and it’s often true, isn’t it? You don’t necessarily look at the previous generation and say, ‘Oh, you did that?’ Or, ‘You went there?’" Princess Anne said in a rare magazine interview with Vanity Fair.

"Nowadays, they’re much more looking for, ‘Oh let’s do it a new way.’ And I’m already at the stage, ‘Please do not reinvent that particular wheel. We’ve been there, done that. Some of these things don’t work. You may need to go back to basics.'"

Whilst Princess Anne says she doesn't want to be "the boring old fuddy-duddy at the back," she also wants to the send the message to the younger royals to "not forget the basics".

Princess Anne didn't specifically mention any of the royals, but her caution does come after Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle announced they would be stepping down as senior members of the royal family, announcing they were "starting to carve out a progressive new role within this institution".

Since their announcement in January this year, they have become financially independent and are currently living in Los Angeles.

5. A slide & $900 weights: 8 details we spotted in celeb homes during the Together At Home concert.

Lady Gaga’s Together At Home fundraising concert featured basically every successful musician you can imagine, from Paul McCartney to Taylor Swift, to the Rolling Stones to Beyonce.

The broadcast, which totalled eight hours, saw more than 100 musicians performing from their homes, broadcast on TV, social media and streaming services around the globe.

Besides the talent on display, the celebration of the frontline workers around the world working around the clock and the important information about social distancing, mental health and washing our hands… We also got to look inside the homes of celebrities.

1. John Legend's EGOT.

Ok, this might be the ultimate flex.

John Legend performed Stand By Me from his grand piano as a duet with Sam Smith, but behind him, his huge wall of awards really stole the show.

There were a few easily recognisable awards, including lot of Grammys (11, to be precise), a couple of MTV VMAs, and a Golden Globe - but that wasn't even close to his full collection (his awards shelves stretch upwards... tall enough that we couldn't actually see the top shelf during his performance).

Also visible was his Tony Award, a Billboard Music Award and Critics' Choice Movie Award.

Legend is one of only 15 people ever to win the top awards for achievements in television, music, film and theatre: An Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony Award.
