1. Oh. Married At First Sight’s Matthew threw his wedding ring into… a volcano.

In today’s news from the bizarro world of MAFS, Matthew Bennett, AKA the guy who lost his virginity on national television, trekked through Middle Earth to the depths of Mordor to destroy the one ring to rule them all.

And by that we mean he threw the ring from his fake television marriage into an Indonesian volcano. Honestly, you cannot make this stuff up.

The former MAFS contestant who was paired with Lauren Huntriss on the show posted the dramatic act on Instagram this week, with the caption: “I threw my ring into a volcano. Have a great Tuesday everyone.”

The pair infamously split on the program after Matthew admitted to a large group of fellow contestants – plus millions of viewers – that he didn’t find her attractive after they’d slept together.

But after the season aired, the 30-year-old videographer accused Lauren, 31, of sending ‘abusive’ text messages, and publicly suggesting he could be gay.

So naturally, he took his new girlfriend, Annabel Jameson, on a hiking trip in Indonesia so he could discard of the ring from his failed former marriage once and for all.

2. Apparently Kylie Jenner was talking about “how rich she is” at the Met Gala.

Another day, another celebrity feud we certainly did not see coming.

This time, it’s all over a Kar-Jenner’s alleged poor dinner table chat at the Met Gala and we’re not buying it.

According to Jennifer Lopez’s fiancé Alex Rodriguez, Kylie Jenner was “bragging about how rich she is” all night, which OK, at first we could kinda believe.

But then we read the deeply problematic quote which the comment came from.

Speaking to Sports Illustrated, the former baseball player was discussing who he sat with at the prestigious event.

“We had a great table,” he began, before it all went downhill. “The black guy from The Wire – Idris Elba, yeah, and his new wife. Some famous singer next to me, I don’t know what her name is. Versace – Donatella.”

Adding, “We had Kylie and Kendall. And we had an Asian gentleman from Rich Asians, the lead. Kylie was talking about Instagram and her lipstick and how rich she is.”

Eurgh. A-Rod no.

Kylie was quick to respond, clearing up that they actually spoke about television, thank you very much.

3. Fifi Box has shared what her first days with new baby Daisy have been like.

After welcoming her new baby earlier this week, Fifi Box has opened up about her first days with her second daughter, Daisy Belle Box.

Speaking to The Project last night, Fifi shared that the first few days with her baby girl have been "blissful".

"I'm great!" the radio presenter said. "I'm in my heavenly, blissful, holding my beautiful baby girl in my arms. I haven't slept for two days and I'm trying to remind myself how to breastfeed."

Fifi also spoke about how her six-year-old daughter Trixie has adjusted to the big change in their family.

"Trixie's loving it. She's very hands on. I kid you not, when Daisy was delivered, it took me two hours to get her back off Trixie," she said.

"She's decided that she's her baby, so I missed out on some quality bonding time."

In recent months, the Australian radio presenter has been struggling with hyperemesis gravidarum (HG) – a serious condition that happens during pregnancy, which causes extreme nausea and vomiting.

Ahh, celebrities. They're just like us. (Well, kind of).

Over the weekend, Leonardo DiCaprio was spotted playing volleyball in Malibu when something... unfortunate happened.

You see, Leonardo was hit right in the face by the ball.

Honestly, we never thought we'd relate to a multi-millionaire, but here we are.

Of course, the photos of the incident have led to dozens of hilarious memes. After all, we've all been there.

5. Fake tan and low rise jeans: We need to talk about the fashion and beauty on The Hills.

When The Hills first graced our television screens in 2006, we had no idea what we were in for.

Running for six seasons until 2010, The Hills centred on former Laguna Beach star Lauren Conrad, who moved to Los Angeles to study fashion, complete internships, and have fights… lots of fights.

Now 13 years on, The Hills: New Beginnings, is here and boy has it got us nostalgic.
