The Spill: Sunday's best entertainment and gossip news.

1. Uhh, MAFS’ Connie was seen celebrating her birthday without Jonethen… despite the fact they were both in Melbourne.

If you need any more evidence that Married at First Sight’s Connie Crayden and Jonethen Musilin might not work out – here it is.

The pair, who are still together on the show, spent their weekend apart in Melbourne despite it being Connie’s birthday.

Connie spent time with friends at Rice Paper Scissors and Yah Yah’s on Saturday, while Jonethen was out at Peaches with Instagram model, Montana Lowrey, on Friday.

Jonethen kept a relatively low profile, but was caught out by Instagram account, @MAFSFunny, who shared an image of Jonethen snuggled up to Lowrey in a dimly lit bar, captioning the pic: "Where's ya wife? @jonethen"

The 27-year-old then responded in the comments: "Can’t I have a drink with my friend."

2. The Bachelor's Laura Byrne just opened up about her fantasy man and yes, he's a dreamboat.

Laura Byrne got candid about her relationship with 2017 Bachelor, Matty J, on her Life Uncut podcast, sharing that she believes fantasising about other people in a relationship is healthy.

And, look, we are just not surprised by her personal pick of a fantasy man.

When podcast co-host, Brittany Hockley, asked Byrne who her "mental hall pass" would be, the 31-year-old didn't hesitate to name Aquaman, Jason Momoa, for his "rugged" look.

"He's not someone I would ever date - he's not my usual type of guy, but for a fantasy, hello," she said.

3. In very important royal news, we might see Harry and Meghan reunited with the Queen soon.

Well. It looks like the rift that has emerged in the royal family, after Meghan Markle and Prince Harry announced their decision to step down as senior members, is finally on the mend.

In January, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced their intention to become financially independent and to split their time between Canada and the United Kingdom. It infamously caused public turmoil for the royal family.

Whilst the royal couple have spent the past couple of months in Canada, there are now reports they will return to England in the coming months to reunite with Harry's grandmother and the head of the monarchy, Queen Elizabeth II.

"Harry and Meghan accepted the Queen's invitation to spend time with her at Balmoral in Scotland this summer," a source reportedly told E! News.

"They plan to take Archie with them. Last year, they declined her invitation, which caused a bit of a stir, as they took Archie to Ibiza and to Elton John's [vacation home] in the south of France."

The Sunday Times also reported that Meghan and Harry will return to London in June to attend the Trooping the Colour parade.

4. "It's a different play for me." There are rumours Karl Stefanovic may make a move to the US for work.

Within months of returning to the Today show alongside new co-host Allison Langdon, there are reports emerging that journalist Karl Stefanovic could have his sights set on the US.

It comes after Stefanovic, who is expecting a baby with wife Jasmine Yarbrough, has reportedly changed management to Mark Morissey, who also happens to be Hollywood actor Chris Hemsworth's agent.

The Daily Telegraph reports that Stefanovic is "on a mission to reboot his career once again after his wobbly ‘comeback’ to Today."

The journalist told the publication: "It’s a different play for me being asked to do something with international focus... It’s early days."

Channel Nine has not commented on the matter.

5. 'They thought it was unethical.' Fellow MAFS contestants say we weren't shown the truth about Aleks and Ivan.

Excuse us, but since Wednesday night, we’ve been trying to work out what the hell went down between Aleks Markovic and Ivan Sarakula while filming Married at First Sight. 

They went from this year’s sure-fire disaster couple, to our unexpected favourites, but then came Wednesday night’s dinner party.

But first a bit of context: During their home stays, Aleks expressed that she wasn’t romantically interested in Ivan, leaving him devastated. A few days later at the dinner party, fellow contestant Michael decided it was his duty to raise the couple’s private issues with the group, starting fiery debates about whether they’d slept together, and whether Aleks had been dating another man during the experiment.

Things took a bizarre turn when Michael and Josh revealed that Ivan had a) asked his friends to publicly discuss the fact that he and Aleks had been sleeping together, and b) then proceeded to act as though he wanted it kept private, out of respect for Aleks.

We're so confused. 

Wednesday night's very tense episode ended with Aleks storming out of the room, with Ivan chasing after her, trying to convince her she could trust him.

We need to get to the bottom of what the hell went on with Aleks and Ivan, and who is actually telling the truth.
