A wedding, baby plans and Netflix deal: Where are the MAFS 2025 cast now?

Last year's season of Married at First Sight Australia delivered loads of drama and twists, as the class of '25 had to navigate the pressures of instant marriage.

With shock exits, couple-swapping, explosive dinner parties and one genuine love match (yep… just one!), the MAFS experiment pushed its participants to their limits.

And now, the dust has long settled and the cameras have stopped rolling, which means the cast has moved into a different phase — some forging new relationships, others embracing single life, and many launching careers as influencers. Shocking, we know.

These MAFS 2025 faves are making headlines for where life has taken them since the show.

Dave Hand.

Dave Hand became a fan favourite on the 2025 season for his wholesome romance with Jamie Marinos — although the couple weren't meant to be, splitting before the reunion.

Dave has had a busy few months, travelling to Bali and the Maldives, filming Cameos for fans, appearing on The Block, and now, he's making a return to another reality dating show.

But this time, he's gone global.

According to Daily Mail, Dave will star in the upcoming season of Netflix's Perfect Match. For the uninitiated, it's basically a dating show for ex-reality stars.

A source told DM that "producers were thrilled when Dave said yes — they'd been watching his season closely and knew he'd bring great television."

However, the original plan was for his ex-bride Jamie to join him, but she reportedly pulled out at the last minute.

"The chemistry between them was undeniable, and they thought it would make for explosive viewing," the source said.

"Producers were disappointed, but they're still very excited to see what Dave does on his own… he's outspoken, quick-witted and isn't afraid to call people out — exactly the type of personality that makes Perfect Match tick."

The 2026 season of Perfect Match is expected to feature all sorts of reality stars from Vanderpump Rules, Love Island, Too Hot to Handle and Married at First Sight.

According to the Daily Mail, Dave made a connection with another rumoured cast member: Vanderpump Rules' Ally Lewber.

Jamie Marinos.

Since her time on MAFS, Jamie Marinos has become the season's breakout star. A fan favourite was known for her larger-than-life personality, and she was originally matched with Dave Hand, a 6'6" builder.

The show's 'golden couple' made it to final vows, but they split shortly after filming, with Jamie later revealing they didn't end on good terms.

Beyond romance, Jamie has amassed over 320,000 followers on Instagram, attended major events like Fashion Week, and was recently linked to AFL player Mate Colina, but later confirmed to Mamamia they were just friends.

There have been rumours that Jamie started a new relationship with fellow cast member Eliot Donovan. However, she has since confirmed they are just friends.

"Elliot and I are friends. We did explore something more, however, I think we both were quite self-aware when we realised what wasn't working, and what was working was a friendship — what wasn't working was anything more," she told Mamamia in October.

When we spoke to Jamie last year, she was still single.

"I am currently chronically single. At the moment, I'm actually enjoying this peaceful era. I obviously went on Married at First Sight to find a husband, and I do still want to settle down and have children, absolutely," she said.

"But I think things are falling into place one step at a time, and I'm kind of happy at the pace it's going. It's allowing me to continue to work on myself in the meantime."

As for the ex-hubby, there is no love lost there. "Dave and I no longer speak. We stopped speaking midway through airing, not long after our relationship fell apart on national television. This was about the same time our friendship in the real world also dissolved," Jamie told us.

"It wasn't on great terms when we ended it. However, I feel more at peace [now], and I hope he does too."

Aside from her personal life, Jamie has found huge success from MAFS, securing several lucrative brand deals and making multiple podcast appearances since filming wrapped.

Eliot Donovan.

Since his appearance on Married at First Sight, Eliot Donovan, a business owner from the Gold Coast, has enjoyed a booming career on social media.

During the experiment, Eliot became the first groom to have two brides: first Lauren Hall, whom he unceremoniously left just three days into their honeymoon, and later intruder bride Veronica Cloherty. Both relationships ultimately failed before the finale.

Post-show, Eliot sparked a high-profile romance with fan favourite Jamie Marinos. The pair frequently shared flirtatious TikToks and were spotted together at Fashion Week and Movie World.

As of early 2026, they remain friends while Eliot continues to manage his businesses in Australia and Sri Lanka, and posts amusing videos on TikTok and Instagram.

His Instagram page describes him as a coach who helps "busy women lose 5-10kg." Hmm. Okay.

Carina Mirabile.

Carina Mirabile, a 31-year-old digital marketing manager from Melbourne, became a memorable bride on Married at First Sight.

She was matched with Paul Antoine, a wellness advisor she had briefly dated and been ghosted by months before filming. Their relationship was tumultuous, ultimately ending at the final vows.

She has returned to her digital marketing career and is active as a fashion influencer. On platforms like TikTok and Instagram, she shares updates about her life, her style and business ventures.

Since the show, Carina has remained in the spotlight by launching her podcast, This Is Chaos, alongside her friend Jacob Muller.

Last year, Carina spent time in the US in Oklahoma City, documenting her Independence Day festivities for her social media audience.

And she was not alone. A TikTok sparked curiosity amongst fans for her "cowboy" companion. On TikTok, Carina shared content featuring the famous Love Island entrance audio, "a hot new bombshell enters the Villa", before showing off a new gentleman.

This led to speculation she had found love post-MAFS.

Earlier this month, Carina confirmed to the Daily Mail that as of 2026, she was "very much single".

She continues to focus on her digital career while sharing her post-show journey with a growing social media following.

Paul Antoine.

Matched with Carina Mirabile, Paul faced significant backlash on MAFS following a controversial incident where he punched a hole in their apartment door during an argument. The outburst led to public backlash and a stern response from the show's experts, who condemned his behaviour.

After his split from Carina at final vows, Paul left Perth and relocated to Sydney's eastern suburbs.

Since the show, Paul has undergone a major career shift, leaving his role as a FIFO wellness advisor.

Paul maintains a presence on social media and is working to rebuild his public image after fans turned on him on MAFS. These days, his social media has been taken over by model shots and fashion shoots for menswear campaigns.

Even more recently, Paul's Instagram presence has seen another dramatic overhaul. In a recent video caption, he made explicit comments about performing oral sex.

The caption read: "I was raised to finish my meals so I don't care if your legs are shaking." Wow. That's umm, a lot.

Jacqui Burfoot and Clint Rice.

Initially matched with Ryan Donnelly, Jacqui Burfoot found love after the show with fellow cast member Clint Rice, who had been matched with Lauren Hall.

Jacqui moved into Clint's Tasmanian home shortly after the Married at First Sight experiment ended, and the couple has been sharing glimpses of their life together on social media.

The couple got engaged in April 2025 at a MAFS viewing party in Sydney, where Clint proposed with a custom 5.08-carat diamond ring.

Since then, the couple have been enjoying life together in Tasmania, where they run their jewellery and golf apparel businesses when they're not going on dreamy international trips.

"We live together in Tasmania, we run our businesses together, we are planning our wedding for next year. We spend 24/7 together," Jacqui told Mamamia in October 2025.

Their wedding is still a work in progress.

"We haven't set a date because we haven't locked in a venue — we are too busy travelling, working and enjoying our engagement. We are keeping the specific details of our big day a surprise."

The couple has plans to eventually have kids, but that's still far into the future. "I do dream of a big family… but we need to make the money first!" Jacqui said.

Awhina Rutene.

Awhina Rutene became a breakout star on the show. The 31-year-old mother from Perth was originally matched with Adrian Araouzou, but their relationship was plagued by drama, including Adrian briefly quitting the show.

Despite a confusing exit at final vows, they split shortly after filming ended.

Following the show, Awhina sparked rumours of a high-profile romance with fellow groom Billy Belcher. The pair seemingly 'hard-launched' their relationship on Instagram in June 2025, with Billy even forming a close bond with Awhina's son, Landon.

They were then photographed in a not-at-all-planned photo spread where they were seen holding hands.

While many thought this was a blossoming new romance, it seems it may have just been a bit of a faux-mance.

Awhina confirmed to Mamamia last year that their relationship was never anything more than a friendship.

"Billy and I have never had a romantic relationship. There's been a lot of speculation, especially with some of the photos that were published," Awhina told Mamamia.

"Those photos came at a time when there was so much interest in our relationship. Billy and I do hold hands all the time, but it's more about comfort and support than anything romantic."

These days, Awhina has established herself as an influencer with over 240k followers on Instagram, where she shares her style, musings and life with her son.

Katie Johnson.

Katie experienced a tumultuous journey on the show, ultimately splitting from her match, Tim Gromie, after a rocky honeymoon.

Since MAFS ended, Katie has focused on her personal growth and often posts about her health journey.

She is active on Instagram (@itswildbykatie), where she shares content about self-love, healing, and empowerment.

Katie continues her work as CEO of Eats 1989 and is also a qualified life coach, using her platform to inspire others in their wellness journeys.

In a chat with Mamamia in 2025, Katie confirmed she's still single. "I still don't know what to do with dating," she shared.

These days, Katie is prioritising starting a family over dating, as she is looking into adopting a child in the coming years, which would halt her dating life.

"I just need to close that chapter and focus on building my own financial independence again," she said.

"Then on my application, I'll show that I'm creating a really stable, healthy environment to bring some kiddos into. That's my focus: rebuilding my life and creating a stable space for building my future family — probably on my own."

Rhi Disljenkovic and Jeff Gobbels.

Some good news!

Jeff and Rhi are still together and thriving after Married at First Sight.

Their relationship, which began as friends and former flames, has only grown stronger since the experiment ended.

They moved in together in Melbourne, frequently share updates on social media, and have openly discussed their plans for the future, including starting a family. Cuties!
