New details are emerging about the night Luke cheated on Lisa after Bachelor in Paradise.

Lisa Hyde and Luke McLeod sailed off into the Fijian sunset together, done with the show on which they’d met, Bachelor in Paradise, and ready to give their blossoming relationship a shot in the real world.

But things did not go to plan and after Monday night’s episode, the pair announced they’d split. Luke, 33, had reportedly cheated on Lisa, 31.

Now, an unidentified friend of the former couple has reportedly shared new details about the “hook up” with The Daily Telegraph.

“He was out with the lads and hooked up with a 19-year-old girl,” the ‘source’ said.

“He is in his mid ‘30s and he is still making stupid decisions like this.”

Lisa also revealed she found out about Luke’s indiscretions through one of the woman’s friends.

“I think she’d obviously bragged about it knowing who I am,” she told Yahoo7Be.

Though she did not share details, Lisa, speaking to Mamamia on Tuesday, said it certainly was “not the outcome” she hoped for.

“It was not the outcome I had hope for,” she said.

“But I have too much respect for myself as a woman to sit back and let that happen.”

As for Luke? He says he’s had a “really tough, really difficult” few days as news of the split has reverberated through the country.

“This is really difficult to talk about,” Luke told Mamamia.

“I have a lot of respect for Lisa and I don’t want to drag the details on that up, but all I want to say is: I let her down, I stuffed up and I’m sorry. I’m trying to take responsibility for my actions and I’m trying to move forward.”

But that’s unlikely to happen, with Lisa saying her trust in Luke is well-and-truly gone.

“Once you break the trust it’s really hard to come back from that, so we’ve just parted ways and tried to be adult,” she told Mamamia.

“There’s definitely no going back for me.”
