Mamamia recaps Love Triangle on Stan: Decisions, decisions, decisions.

In this week's utterly jaw-dropping episode of Love Triangle, it's the moment we've all been waiting for: decision time. After weeks of emotional turmoil, heated arguments, and some genuinely sweet connections, everyone is packing their bags and making their final choices about who (if anyone) they want to continue their journey with on the outside. Some decisions are exactly what we expected, others have us pleasantly surprised, and one completely threw us for a loop that had us screaming at our screens.

Let's dive into the drama, shall we?

After weeks of Bernie stringing along both women while clearly having stronger feelings for someone else entirely (hello, Chloe!), the women have finally reached their breaking point. Throughout the experiment, Bernie has been hot and cold with both matches, making promises he couldn't keep, and generally behaving like a man who has no business being in a relationship.

"I don't think he should even be dating. He's just going around traumatising people," Jazmin declares with the conviction of someone who's spent far too long trying to make sense of Bernie's nonsense. And honestly, WHERE IS THE LIE?

"He just is a walking red flag," adds Marissa, who has clearly been taking notes on Bernie's behaviour since day one.

In what might be the most satisfying moment of the season, the women make the BEST decision possible — they both choose to leave Bernie behind. YES GIRLS. This is exactly the kind of self-respect we love to see on our screens. This man does not deserve either of these beautiful, intelligent women who have been nothing but patient with him.

But of course, in typical Bernie fashion, he refuses to take any accountability for his actions. Instead, he plays the victim card, acting like he's just a man following his heart. Sir, it's not your fault that you fell for someone else. It IS, however, your fault that you didn't communicate this to your matches from the beginning. You continued to lie. You wasted their time. You played with their emotions. Get a grip, man.

Moving on to Ari and Nuri — my favourites. The proof that sometimes love is simple. In stark contrast to the drama elsewhere, Ari and Nuri have been the steadiest couple throughout the experiment. Their connection has been genuine from the start, but like any real relationship, they've faced their own challenges.

The biggest hurdle? Geography. Ari lives in Sydney, and Nuri is based in Perth — that's a four-hour flight between them. Naturally, Ari isn't completely sure how Nuri really feels about her or their future. She's explicitly asked about long distance before, but he's been frustratingly vague about his plans.

Despite valid fears about whether their relationship can survive the distance, they decide to go the distance (see what I did there?) and see how their connection translates to the outside world. YES to the most stable, drama-free couple in the entire show, proving that sometimes, love doesn't have to be complicated.

WE LOVE THEM. WE LOVE LOVE. We're rooting for you crazy kids!

For Payton, Jordan and Dante, we're at the end of this particular triangle, and I'm not going to lie, Payton has drawn the short end of the stick from day one. These boys have not treated her the way she deserves to be treated, with Jordan initially showing zero interest and Dante coming on way too strong.

Payton feels like Dante has been very clear about his intentions — planning their future together after a few weeks of knowing each other — and while she likes his certainty, she finds it overwhelming.

Meanwhile, Jordan has apparently changed his mind (how convenient!) and says that he's got a "soft spot" for Payton now. It's not that I don't believe him (Payton is gorgeous and has the patience of a saint), but I miss the times when these men would get called out for their previous behaviour by experts, because the words he used to describe Payton just a few episodes ago NEED to be addressed. Where is John Aiken when you need him?

Payton, showing more awareness than both men combined, is concerned that Jordan only wants to compete for her attention, not that he actually likes her. Valid observation, queen!

In the end, Payton decides she's not ready for Dante's level of seriousness. She needs to figure herself out a bit more. Jordan, sensing victory, pulls out all the stops in the final moments: "I can see you as the mother to my kids. My wife, all of that." Umm, sir, weren't you completely uninterested like five minutes ago?

As much as we love seeing him finally show up (better late than never?), I'm still sceptical about his sudden change of heart. But Payton ends up choosing Jordan, and we respect it.

Now, we come to Mike and Melissa. The tension between these two has been building since the last episode, when they got into a pretty heated argument after Melisssa called him out for his behaviour towards Chloe.

"I don't get too many complaints in general," Mike says with the confidence of a mediocre white man. He says his family and friends like him, as if that's the ultimate character reference.

"So why are you single then?" Melissa asks with the perfect blend of curiosity and shade, and I felt that in my SOUL. The question we all wanted to ask.

She tells him point-blank that he can't take any constructive criticism, which is TRUE based on everything we've seen. She wasn't attacking him personally — she simply expressed that she didn't like the way he spoke to someone else during a group activity. It feels like he wants someone who doesn't ever pull him up on his behaviour; a yes-woman who will stroke his ego no matter what.

When confronted with this reality, he gets VERY defensive and starts going off: "I don't want one more life coaching session from you. It comes off as smug. What you're trying to do here is reprogram my character."

YIKES.

"You're going to forever be a lonely person because you can't take accountability," Melissa says. She's not wrong, and someone had to say it.

Needless to say, these two don't leave together, and Melissa walks away with her dignity intact.

Ah, Chloe and her love square. This triangle has been the most emotional of the season, with genuine feelings all around.

Beck, who has struggled throughout the experiment, is rethinking whether she wants to be here anymore and decides to leave the experience altogether.

"I'm finding living together being really hard. I think I need to step away," Beck explains, noting that seeing Chloe and Emma so close brought up a lot of trauma from her past relationships. It's a mature decision to recognise when something isn't working for your mental health.

Meanwhile, Chloe finds herself at the centre of not one but two love triangles — still connected to Emma from the beginning, but now also involved with Bernie (who's suddenly available after his matches wisely walked away). Talk about complicated.

Despite weeks of seemingly strong connection with Emma, she says her connection with Bernie is "nearly as powerful." Really? The same Bernie who just got dumped by two women for being untrustworthy? I doubt that, but okay, Chloe.

In what might be the BIGGEST plot twist of the season (I literally gasped), Chloe decides NOT to choose Emma, despite their obvious chemistry and connection throughout the experiment.

"It's just not the love I'm willing to accept and that I feel I deserve," she explains, leaving Emma visibly heartbroken.

She says she already has doubts about their compatibility long-term. NOOO! I love Emma! But you've got to do what you've got to do, Chloe.

Instead, she decides to pursue things with Bernie — yes, the same Bernie who just got double-dumped for being unreliable. Can't say I'm too happy about this development, but what do I know? I'm just someone who has watched every minute of this trainwreck.

"I feel giddy," Chloe says with the excitement of someone who hasn't seen all the red flags we have. Good for you, I guess? I hope you're prepared for what's coming.

What a plot twist. I guess that's a wrap on the main experiment! Except for the reunion — here's where it gets juicy! Let's see who has lasted the test of time outside the experiment (my money's on Ari and Nuri).

AND they'll be playing back all the poor behaviour we've witnessed but the participants themselves aren't aware of. FINALLY! I'M LOOKING FOR SOME ACCOUNTABILITY!!!
