One of MAFS' most controversial grooms is returning to reality TV.

Oh honey, grab your wine and clear your calendar because Stan is about to deliver the dating show drama we've all been craving.

The streaming service has just dropped the official trailer for the new season of Stan Original Series Love Triangle, and it's absolutely packed with messy relationship chaos, unexpected twists, and enough awkward moments to make you feel better about your own dating history.

This season features five brave (or perhaps, slightly unhinged) singles who'll choose between two potential partners they've never laid eyes on. The twist? After moving in with their first choice, their second option comes knocking at the door. Cue the dramatic music.

In an exciting first for the series, this season will include a reunion special hosted by none other than Selling Sunset star and reality TV queen Chrishell Stause.

The show is set to air on April 6 on Stan, and we can't wait to meet the new participants.

Remember Mike from Married at First Sight Season 6? Well, the controversial MAFS groom who famously crashed and burned with bride Heidi Latcham hasn't given up on finding reality TV romance. Second time's a charm? Despite his reality TV fame, our man Mike has apparently been striking out in the romance department, but he's claimed that anyone who can get past his reality TV villain persona will discover he's actually a softie underneath. We'll see about that.

Since his time on MAFS, Mike has been on a journey of self-discovery. Now he's keen to get to know someone on Love Triangle, and he hopes to do so before they can jump to any conclusions about his past.

If subtle is what you're after, Ariana is absolutely not your girl. This unapologetically loud contestant doesn't just enter rooms — she announces them — and has zero patience for beating around the bush when it comes to her life plans. First date questions? Forget "what's your star sign" — she's straight-up asking if you're ready for marriage and babies (and honestly, we're here for it).

After a string of gym-obsessed, heavily-tattooed heartbreakers who couldn't handle her energy, Ariana's ready for a dramatic dating pivot on Love Triangle. Her new type? Dad bods. Yes, really. Her theory? Perhaps a man with less defined abs might have more defined commitment skills.

Bernie.

Bernie's love story started with the classic 'moved across the world for romance' plot that — spoiler alert — didn't end with happily ever after. But while the relationship crashed and burned, our Portuguese heartthrob fell head over heels for Australia instead. Oh, and Australian women, of course.

Describing himself as emotionally mature, Bernie believes he's got conversational skills that will put most Aussie blokes to shame. He's after a woman who can match his vibrant energy; someone who isn't afraid to colour outside the society-approved lines of conventional living.

Bernie confesses he's a classic victim of dating app paralysis — you know, that feeling when you've got too many options to focus on one person. Love Triangle's forced-connection format might be exactly what this charming commitment-phobe needs to actually invest in someone beyond the third date.

Chloe.

If you ever feel like you're not doing enough, let us introduce you to Chloe — the human equivalent of that friend who somehow manages to make you feel simultaneously inspired and completely inadequate. This bubbly nurse manager is casually juggling two Master's degrees alongside her full-time job, because apparently, sleep is optional.

Despite her impressive resume, Chloe's love life hasn't quite matched her academic success. After having her heart smashed to pieces when her fiancé called off their engagement, she's now equal-opportunity heartbroken — open to finding that spark with either men or women.

Payton.

Living with your parents in your 20s? In this economy, it's basically a rite of passage — just ask Payton. This loud and proud small business owner has temporarily retreated to the family nest in Coffs Harbour, proving that sometimes the most financially responsible decision is also the most romantically devastating.

Because let's be real: the dating pool in small-town Australia isn't so much a pool as it is a puddle. And while Payton's dating apps are blowing up, it's unfortunately with the wrong type of guys.

True to her Gen Z credentials, Payton lives for the text game — dissecting emoji choices with the precision of a forensic scientist and serving savage roasts that would make a Comedy Central panel proud.
