Lisa Origliasso's engagement party featured a burning ritual and a vegan grazing table.

Jessica Origliasso may have had her split from Ruby Rose publicly confirmed today, but it’s also been a day of celebrating love for the singer.

The Veronicas twin was no-doubt gratefully distracted by celebrations at her sister Lisa and American actor Logan Huffman’s engagement party, which included some kind of burning ritual.

Earlier Lisa shared a video on Instagram of Jess preparing a spectacular-looking vegan grazing table for the party.

“Today my sweet baby J catered Logan and my engagement party with the DREAMIEST vegan grazing table, hand picking and arranging every single part of it herself. I am the luckiest girl in the universe to have my two by my side,” the singer wrote.

In her Instagram stories, the 33-year-old continued documenting the afternoon, showing her fiancé leading a ceremony that involved writing down and sharing good wishes for themselves and for the future bride and groom.

The guests then held their messages, written on paper and wrapped in red material in the air and chanted, before throwing them into a fire.

Burning rituals like this are meant to promote a feeling of release and peace, according to wellness sites.

Lisa also shared photos of her fiancé and friends, and herself dancing later in the evening, as well as a picture of her gorgeous flower-topped engagement cake.

On Monday, Ruby Rose confirmed via a statement on her social media that she and Jess had broken up “a few months ago”.

“I’ve shared the past two years learning and sharing my life with an amazing human being. An experience for which I am very blessed,” she wrote.

"Break ups are always incredibly hard on the people involved but I can only be grateful for the experiences we shared. It’s with a heavy heart to share that Jess and I parted ways a few months ago.

"We still love each other very much and I will always support her and be her biggest advocate."

However, Lisa may not be too disappointed that the relationship has ended.

A since-deleted Tweet from Ruby when the same-sex marriage vote came last year suggested a strained relationship, hinting that Lisa had made disparaging remarks about same-sex relationships.

"So glad to see Lisa Origliasso screaming in excitement about the yes vote after telling us she thinks we should feel 'lucky' we don't get stoned to death like they do in other countries and to get over it a few months ago."
