The Veronicas' Lisa shares a close-up of her very distinct, custom-made engagement ring.

After two years of dating, one half of the Veronicas, Lisa Origliasso and boyfriend Logan Huffman have announced they are engaged to be married.

The pair shared the happy news on their respective Instagram accounts on Monday afternoon, with Origliasso saying Huffman proposed last month while visiting her home state of Queensland.

“A month ago the love of my life burnt a blood sucking leech off me in the middle of the Queensland rainforest… then asked me to be with him forever. His love has been life changing. Needless to say this is going to be the best year yet,” 32-year-old Origliasso wrote alongside an image of the pair.

“The first time I saw her she was holding a flower. It was the way she was holding it with delicacy, care and love that made me fall so hard for her. I knew that I would treat her the same as she treated that flower,” 27-year-old Huffman, an actor, wrote.

“I found someone that I am incapable of not being madly in love with. And I’ve asked her to be my Betrothed. My Wife.”

Following the announcement, Origliasso posted a photo of the custom-designed diamond ring on Instagram on Tuesday, writing, “This ring is the most beautiful thing in the world to me. But only he who truly knows me, could design something that could so flawlessly capture the essence of who I am and what this means to me.” 

The singer continued, “A triangluar macle ‘twin’ diamond— this stone is completely in its raw form. It has ridges shaped like a mandala. Fine lines like stepping stones rising up to the peak of it’s pyramid shape. It symbolically represents a love that is ancient, indestructible & powerful. A love that never stops existing, reaching, climbing & growing. Transcending space and time, to the infinite & beyond.”

Huffman spent time with Origliasso’s family over Christmas, with Lisa sharing a video of the Los Angeles-based actor who appeared in The Veronicas’ 2014 video for Cruel, learning to make ravioli with her grandmother.

Lisa’s twin sister Jess and girlfriend Ruby Rose was also with the family at the time, with the twins celebrating their 32 birthdays on Christmas Day.

Sharing in the joy, Jess also posted a photo of Lisa to Instagram on Monday afternoon, writing, “MY WIFEY FOR LIFEY IS BECOMING A REAL WIFEY. Congrats @lisa_veronica @ @loganhuffman77.”

Huffman, who coincidentally is a triplet, also attended the 2016 ARIAs with Jess, where The Veronicas made headlines with their performance of their single, In My Blood. Sharing a photo of the pair together on the red carpet, Huffman wrote, “I couldn’t be more proud of her. So talented, so powerful, so strong.”
