Real Housewives of Sydney star Lisa Oldfield has come under fire for engaging in quite the social media debate with a fellow castmate’s teenage son.
After Oldfield claims the 13-year-old son of Victoria Rees “trolled” her on an Instagram photo, the 42-year-old took aim at the boy and his mother in since-deleted comments.
“Is your mother monitoring your social media activity?” Oldfield reportedly wrote in response to the 13-year-old. “Probably not. She’s probably on her 30th Skinny Bitch. It doesn’t matter where you come from or what you have, education is the great leveller.
“You need to work on that,” she said, adding: “In the meantime, ring your Dad, he loves you very much,” a reference to Rees’ single-status.
When asked about the catalyst for her comments, Oldfield told Mamamia she felt she should pull the 13-year-old up on his aggression and lack of “respect”.
“He wrote to me saying , ‘you’re just jealous because we are better than you. You’re a sook, whinger and a bully’.
“I hate the concept that anyone is better than anyone else. I teach my children we treat everyone equally. Victoria, on the other hand, is going around saying people from the Western suburbs are all bogans.
“I was horrified by that, so I told him education is a great leveller. No-one is better than anyone.”
Oldfield said it was her intention to tell Rees' son to "stick in school" because his "spelling and grammar was terrible", that he shouldn't be "harassing adults" on the internet.
