1. Oh. It turns out Lindsay Lohan didn’t recognise most stars on The Masked Singer.

Look.

The decision to pick Lindsay Lohan to be a judge on The Masked Singer Australia was confusing from the start, mostly because… does she have any knowledge of Australia’s C-grade celebrities?

The answer is… no. Not exactly. But alas, she’s provided some quality guesses, namely international chef Jamie Oliver and multi-Grammy-award-winning artist Bruno Mars. Yes, a lot of her guesses have been widely unrealistic.

And now fellow judge Dannii Minogue has confirmed our beliefs, telling Stellar Magazine that no, she didn’t know many of the celebrities.

When asked by the publication if she has had to explain who a few of the unmasked people were to Lohan, her answer was simple: “Absolutely.”

“But Lindsay studied really hard,” Minogue revealed.

“She came up with some great guesses. She’s generated enough column inches and interest about the show to get people interested enough to watch.”

Indeed, the show has been a huge ratings success for Channel 10, and it’s understood Lohan will be returning for season two next year.

2. “It is definitely over this time.” Phoebe and Sam Burgess reportedly split for the second time.

Since news broke last week of Phoebe Burgess and NRL star Sam Burgess’ split, Phoebe, 30, and the pair’s two children have reportedly moved out of the pair’s Marourbra home.

They are apparently staying with her family in Bowral, about an hour and a half out of Sydney.

The journalist is said to be looking to make a permanent move to the Southern Highlands with the couple’s two-year-old daughter Poppy and 10-month-old son Billy.

An insider told the Daily Telegraph: “It is definitely over this time and they are now trying to figure out how to co-parent long-term.”

“It’s only an hour away from Sydney so not too hard for Sam to still see the kids and Phoebe to be able to attend events for her clients,” a source told the newspaper.

“It makes sense as Phoebe’s support network is in Bowral. She grew up there, her mum and dad are there and her sister Jemima has just moved home with her two young children after getting a new job there as a teacher.”

This is the second time the couple has publicly split. The pair originally ended their relationship in December 2018, just three weeks after the birth of their son.

3. “I almost drove myself mad.” The Bachelor’s Helena shares a powerful body-positive message.

Helena Sauzier has opened up about the body insecurities she felt whilst filming The Bachelor earlier this year.

In a post shared to her Instagram, the 25-year-old admitted that her fears were heightened on the show and says although it has taken her a long time to feel comfortable, she feels “stronger and sexier than ever before”.

“When I was in the Bachelor house I always compared myself to the other more voluptuous girls and thought Matt would not find me attractive for being on the skinnier side,” Helena wrote.

“I almost drove myself mad doing it. It’s so silly how we get caught up in our own minds.”

I’ve gotten to a place where I feel so strong and confident in my own body and it’s such a good feeling! When I was in the Bachelor house I always compared myself to the other more voluptuous girls and thought Matt would not find me attractive for being on the skinnier side. I almost drove myself mad doing it. It’s so silly how we get caught up in our own minds. I’ve come a long way since then and feel stronger and sexier than ever before. It feels good to feel good! I really hope we can all strive to get to that place sooner rather than later. It’s taken me a good 25 years but better now than never.

Helena finished her post by saying she now feels good and hopes “we can all strive to get to that place”.

4. Rafael Nadal has married his long-time girlfriend Xisca Perello and sadly, Roger Federer wasn’t there.

Rafael Nadal has married his partner of 14 years, Xisca Perello, in a beautiful ceremony on the Spanish island of Mallorca.

While the wedding guest list was star-studded, there was one noticeable absence. Roger Federer, one of Nadal’s biggest tennis rivals, apparently wasn’t invited to the nuptials despite the two being good friends.

Other rumoured attendees include singer Enrique Iglesias and NBA star Pau Gasol.

The current World No.2 gave us a glimpse of the couple’s wedding destination in La Fortazela, which hosted around 350 guests over the weekend.

It is understood those invited received notes on their seats which requested they leave their phones in a provided locker.

Congratulations to the happy couple!

5. Trevor proposed to his girlfriend after winning Big Brother 2004. This is their life now.

When Trevor Butler proposed to his girlfriend Breea Forrest on live TV after winning Big Brother in 2004, plenty of people were cynical.

“People thought we weren’t going to make it, with all this Big Brother stuff,” Butler tells Mamamia. “There were rumours going round that she was just there for the money.”

But Butler and Forrest had already been going out for more than six years. Butler had moved from Broken Hill to the Gold Coast to be with Forrest.

“People didn’t know that she worked three jobs when I moved up here with only 80 bucks and no job,” he explains. “She did that for me, for a good four or five months. I’d pick her up and take her to work, because I was still looking for work.”

Butler wasn’t even tempted by girls who approached him after Big Brother.

“They’re coming up to me and saying ‘hello’ with their boobs out or whatever, and then I’ve got a girl here who worked three jobs, who loved me for who I was, and not for what I had.”

Fast-forward 15 years, and the couple are happily married with two boys, 12-year-old Maika and eight-year-old Creedence.

“Me and Breezy are still together, so we’re doing all right.”
