Leila McKinnon’s response to comments about her new lisp is a lesson on how to handle criticism.

Thomething thtrange was going on with Leila McKinnon last night.

A Current Affair reporter McKinnon, 43, spoke with a never-before-heard lisp on the show.

Predictably, viewers needed to tell McKinnon about the lisp immediately.

She followed it up with another tweet applauding the theorists on their creativity, but confirming the lisp was caused by an orthodontist rather than a plastic surgeon:
