We're well and truly entering gifting season. Christmas, of course, but also the time of year when many people have engagement parties or get married. And I don't know about you, but I have so many loved ones' birthdays in November and December. 

I love a stroll around the shopping centre more than the average person. BUT, with a four-year-old who lasts about 10 minutes at the shops (plus, you know, work and the busyness of life in general), a physical outing to browse and buy all the gifts on my list is quite literally impossible.

Technically, this is a gift for my new house. While I'm a proud vocal instant coffee lover, we finally have space to have visitors stay and room to entertain. I needed a more socially palatable coffee option.

This machine is perfect. Compact, so it doesn't take up much bench space, it has a side steamer for frothing milk, so you can make any espresso-style coffee your heart (or your guests) desires. The best bit? It's the easiest coffee machine to clean that I've ever had (and I've had a few).

Illuminate Me Makeup Brush Holder and Dryer, $5.61.

I have two teenage nieces who are makeup obsessed (the apple doesn't fall far from the tree), so I grabbed one of these for each of them and one for myself while I was at it.

It’s a really clever two-in-one. I use it as a brush holder to store and display my makeup brushes (no more rummaging around in a drawer or makeup bag, which always makes the bag dirty).

It’s also fantastic for hanging brushes to dry after their regular wash. The legs are also collapsible if you do want to store it away and only use it when washing your brushes. Hanging them with the bristles facing down is the best way to care for and get longevity out of your brushes.

Ray-Ban Erika Sunglasses, $169.

Ray-Ban is the most iconic, timeless sunglass brand around. Partly because of the excellent quality, but also because their classic styles suit everyone of any gender.

I already have the Wayfarer style, as well as their aviators, and have had my eye on the Erika style for quite a while. The shape is a hybrid round/cat-eye style that will never date and can be worn casually or with a dressy outfit to a party or wedding.

M.A.C Matte Lipstick in Lady Danger, $26.

Every woman needs a few iconic M.A.C lipsticks in her makeup collection. You've probably heard of their most famous shades – Faux (a soft pink I wore on my wedding day), Velvet Teddy (another nude said to be loved by Kylie Jenner), and of course, Lady Danger.

Lady Danger is a warm red shade with undertones of orange. For that reason, it's perfect for spring and summer if you're looking for a statement lip. It's matte but not drying at all. It's perfect.

Tom Ford Tuberéuse Nue For Men and Women EDP Perfume, $449.

I love a boujee fragrance, both to receive as a gift and to give to a loved one. It’s the perfect present for the person who has everything because you can never have too many perfumes.

It doesn't get much fancier than Tom Ford. He is yet to release a fragrance I don't like, and one of my ultimate favourites is the Tuberéuse Nue EDP. Unisex, like all of his scents, this fragrance has notes of jasmine, lily, and tonka bean. It’s sexy and summery and suits literally everyone.

Marc Jacobs The Large Tote Bag, $345.

Finding the perfect tote bag can seem like an elusive search. I always look for one that zips shut so everything doesn't fall out when I’m in the car or travelling, plus I want it to be big enough to fit a lot but not so huge that it’s awkward to carry.

This one ticks all the boxes. It's perfect as a baby bag (need a gift for an upcoming baby shower?) or for anyone who seems to have the kitchen sink with them each day (me!).

It's stylish, practical (there are smaller pockets on the inside for little items), and I get so many compliments when I use it (yep, this was another gift for yours truly).

Tommy Hilfiger Women's Lamiss Sneakers, $99.

The sneaker trend is not going anywhere soon. Not really a trend now, classic white sneakers are a hard-working staple in any wardrobe.

The Tommy Hifiger range is perfect, because they don't look too sporty. Sure, you can wear them with activewear when running errands, but they also look great paired with a suit for cool-factor, or with shorts and a shirt or summer dresses.
