LEIGH CAMPBELL: 'My personal Black Friday sales beauty list.'

In case you haven't noticed, there's a lot of sales happening in November.

First, there was Singles Day, then Click Frenzy, and now we're in the barrage of Black Friday and Cyber Monday weekend offers.

Black Friday sales seemed to kick off earlier than ever this year. It's because brands and retailers are trying to get in first to ensure they get some of the spending pie — if they wait until the official date of Black Friday (which is November 29), customers may have spent their money elsewhere.

On Monday's episode of You Beauty, Kelly and I talked about the origin of Black Friday sales, why they are bigger and earlier and longer each year, and how to approach them if you're feeling overwhelmed.

With the advice we shared on the show in mind, here are my Black Friday sale recommendations.

Leigh Campbell's Black Friday picks.

1. The Ordinary Multi-Peptide Eye Serum.

The Ordinary has 23 per cent off for the whole month of November. I use the eye serum most days — it's a thinner consistency than a cream so it sinks in and doesn't pill under my concealer.

2. Mermade Hair Blowdry Brush.

I already have this hair tool so I don't need another, but sales are a great time to pick up an appliance you've had your eye on, or for Christmas gifts. Myer currently has the Mermade brush for $89, down from $109.

3. Dr Teal's Pure Epsom Salt Soaking Solution.

Starting on the 28th Dr Teal's will have 30 per cent off site-wide. I always stock up on their Epsom salts for the bath — they help soothe my aches and can also be used as a body scrub.

4. SkinCeuticals CE Ferulic Antioxidant Serum.

I hate how expensive this serum is ($242) but I just love what it does for my skin. The good news is you can pick it up at lots of places, so hunt around as the official Black Friday date gets closer to find the best bargain.

5. Shark SpeedStyle RapidGloss Finisher & High-Velocity Dryer.

If you've seen the hype around Shark hair tools and you've been keen to try, The Iconic currently has the wildly popular hair dryer on sale for $194.95, which is a massive 35 per cent off.

6. M.A.C. Squall Goals Eye Shadow Palette.

I can rarely justify the price of a fancy eyeshadow palette because I don't use many colours most of the time. This M.A.C. one is almost half-price, and the metallic and neutral shades are right up my alley.

7. Bioderma Sensibio H2O Soothing Micellar Water Cleanser.

I always use sales to grab multiples of products I use daily. Bioderma micellar water is one of those products. It's already on sale at Priceline, but I'll use Google to find the best price before I purchase.

8. James Cosmetics Eye Masks.

James Cosmetics has already kicked off their sale, with 40 per cent off everything. I use their eye masks before I do my makeup if I'm going somewhere fancy or just want to look refreshed. After 20 minutes my under-eye area is noticeably smoother.

Before I go, you're probably wondering when Adore Beauty will launch their Black Friday sale, because if you're anything like me you've been checking like crazy. Well, it kicks off on Tuesday 25th November, so start sorting your cart and wish list now.
