The new trailer for Leaving Neverland paints a chilling picture of Michael Jackson.

It’s the Michael Jackson documentary that left critics feeling “sick to their stomachs”.

And now, a disturbing new trailer has been released for two-part series Leaving Neverland

Set for release in March, the four-hour film features the testimonies of Wade Robson and James Safechuck, who both allege Michael Jackson sexually assaulted them as children at his Neverland Ranch property.

For many years, Michael Jackson was viewed by fans as a Peter Pan-type. A man who refused to grow up.

Living inside the amusement park-like Neverland Ranch, Jackson often invited underage kids to visit his ranch, which featured zoo animals and amusement rides.

“We drive in and you forget about all your problems. You’re in Neverland. It was a fantasy. He just came across as a loving, caring, kind soul,” Wade Robson’s mother Joy said in the documentary’s trailer.

“The days were filled with magical childhood adventure experiences,” alleged victim James Safechuck added.

“Playing tag, watching movies, eating junk food – anything you could ever want as a child.”

But while many fans maintain that Jackson was just that – a real life Peter Pan – Robson and Safechuck’s testimonies paint a very different picture.

"He told me if they ever found out what we were doing, he and I would go to jail for the rest of our lives," Robson said in the trailer.

"I want to be able to speak the truth as loud as I had to speak the lie for so long."

Wade Robson first met Michael Jackson when he was just five years old. After listening to Jackson's music from a young age, Robson entered and won an Australia-wide dance competition to share the stage with the late performer at his Brisbane concert.

A few years after appearing on stage with the singer, Robson and his family were invited to stay at Neverland.

According to court documents, Robson, who was seven years old at the time, spent the first night at the ranch sleeping alongside the Thriller singer in bed.

It was then that the alleged abuse began.

In 2016, Robson filed a lawsuit against MJJ Productions and MJJ Venture claiming to have been sexually assaulted by Michael Jackson multiple times across seven years.

In the complaint, Robson alleged that Jackson's sexual acts toward him had included masturbation, kissing, naked showers and oral sex.

The Michael Jackson estate has claimed the new documentary about the allegations against Jackson is "tabloid character assassination".

Before his death in 2009, Michael Jackson vehemently denied all allegations of child sexual abuse made against him.
