The $12,000 Khloe Kardashian sex doll Lamar Odom bought after she divorced him.

Lamar Odom continues to be the worst ex-husband ever.

Earlier this month, TMZ broke news that the ex-basketballer had commissioned a life-sized sex doll in the likeness of his ex-wife, Khloe Kardashian. His manager, Gina Rodriguez, told the gossip page Lamar was excited to "do anything he likes sexually" with the doll, which again… was made to resemble his ex-wife.

Lamar reportedly purchased the doll from RealDoll, with the dolls typically starting from $8,000 ($12,000 AUD). The doll is still under construction and will arrive in time for the holidays.

I mean, you don't get much ickier than this. Not only is this straight-up creepy, it feels violating on behalf of Khloe, who filed for divorce from Lamar a decade earlier in 2013.

The 45-year-old spoke about his decision to order the doll in an episode of the We're Out of Time podcast. The former NBA star claims the purchase is for his mental health.

"When you're really thinking about it, [it's] like a doll, but then you think about like, mental health, and how important that is, not just in today's time, but just from the beginning of time. A sex doll that looks like your wife is about mental health," Odom said.

To this, podcast host Richard Taite asked "A sex doll that looks like your wife, is that mental health?"

"For me it would be," Lamar replied. "Yeah, I mean, it's sick but I think we're all a little off or a little weird, a little bit."

Just to cut in here: Khloe is not Lamar's wife. She is his ex-wife, but he goes on.

After confirming the doll was indeed modeled after Khloe, he joked "I need like a harem [of dolls]."

I actually feel sick.

In the same interview, Odom admitted that he's not in communication with the Kardashian. "She still cares about me. I don't speak to her [but] I can text her and she'll reply," he said.

Lamar and Khloe got married one month after meeting in 2009. Khloe filed for divorce in 2013 over infidelity and addiction issues on Lamar's part.

She helped with Lamar's recovery after he was found unconscious in 2015 and he was hospitalised for months. Their divorce was eventually finalised in 2016.

Later that year, Khloe began dating Tristan Thompson, who she shares daughter, True, and son, Tatum, with. The couple have been on/off for years but are currently broken up.

Odom has been vocal in the past about wanting to win Khloe back.

"I would probably just want to take her to dinner. It would be a blessing just to be in her presence to just tell her I'm sorry and what a fool I was," he said on Celebrity Big Brother.

"She has the right to never see me again for the things I put her through, but time moves on and people change. I would say I'm a lot more loyal now."

I'd say with the recent developments, I wouldn't expect a text back from Khloe any time soon.
