Well, would you believe Kristen Stewart?

You should.

Of all the actresses in all the land, she – the woman previously locked in a love triangle with a vampire and a werewolf – would know.

In a recent interview with Vanity Fair, the Twilight actress and key member of the Hollywood ghost communicator syndicate not only admitted to believing in ghosts, she revealed she is actually a reluctant ghost whisperer.

With about as much nonchalance as she would describe what she ate for breakfast, she told the publication that sometimes she “literally cannot deal” with how much ghosts want to talk to her and honestly, we feel for her.

It must be hard not only having to endure small talk with actual humans, but spirits, too.

“I talk to them,” she revealed of her relationship with the supernatural.

“If I’m in a weird, small town, making a movie, and I’m in a strange apartment, I will literally be like, ‘No, please, I cannot deal. Anyone else, but it cannot be me.’ Who knows what ghosts are, but there is an energy that I’m really sensitive to. Not just with ghosts, but with people. People stain rooms all the time.”

People do stain rooms. And that is why hotel cleaners are the unsung heroes of our society.

We digress.

K-Stew’s admission certainly isn’t the first of its nature. In fact, it only confirms our suspicions that all famous people can communicate with ghosts.

But we’re not about to present you with an unsubstantiated report claiming all celebrities talk to ghosts based on one experience alone. That would be insane.

So without further ado, here is the overwhelming anecdotal evidence that suggests the existence of a deep, dark Hollywood secret which, despite several attempts to cover up by presumably the government or maybe the church of Scientology, has finally burst into the public sphere.

Ahem.

Here are seven other celebrities who have seen or spoken to ghosts:

Miley Cyrus

Ok, so this doesn’t surprise us. Miley definitely has a ghosty vibe about her.

In an interview with Elle UK, Miley revealed a pervy child ghost once sat in the sink and watched her shower and NOPE. No thanks.

She said it all went down in a haunted London flat she was staying in during her 2009 European tour.

"It was seriously so terrifying. It used to be an old bakery and they turned it into an apartment building, and I was having really crazy dreams and really scary things, and one night my little sister–it sounds crazy to tell you–but she was standing in the shower and all of a sudden I hear her scream. I run in there and the water had somehow flipped to hot but it was still... It wasn’t like the water had just changed, the knob had turned but she hadn’t turned it and it was burning her. She was really red."

But it wasn't just a case of bad plumbing. Miley then went on to recall a "little boy" hanging out in the bathroom.

"Before I felt this, I thought I had seen a little boy sitting on the sink watching me take a shower so I felt really freaked out. I was sitting there the next night and maybe I’m crazy, but I could have sworn I could see this little boy sitting there on the sink, kicking his feet."

Keanu Reeves

Nice man Keanu wouldn't lie about seeing ghosts. He just wouldn't.

He claims he saw a ghost as a child while living in New York City.

Speaking to Jimmy Kimmel, he said; “I’m probably like 6, 7 years old, we’d come from Australia. Renata, [our] nanny, in the bedroom, my sister is asleep, she’s sitting over there, I’m hanging out. There was a doorway and all of a sudden this jacket comes waving through the doorway, this empty jacket — there’s no body, there’s no legs, it’s just there. And then it disappears,” .

“I was a little kid and I thought, ‘Okay, that’s interesting,’ and I looked over at the nanny and she [was making this terrified face]. And I’m like ‘Oh wow, so that was real.'”

Ariana Grande

Not only can Ari talk to and see ghosts, she's also encountered actual demons, because of course she has.

In 2013, she told Complex a demon made its way into her car during a trip to a cemetery in Kansas City known as "one of the seven gates of Hell".

“I felt this sick, overwhelming feeling of negativity over the whole car and we smelled sulfur, which is the sign of a demon, and there was a fly in the car randomly, which is another sign of a demon. I was like, “This is scary, let’s leave.” I rolled down the window before we left and said, “We apologize. We didn’t mean to disrupt your peace.” Then I took a picture and there are three super distinct faces in the picture — they’re faces of textbook demons.”

It literally sounds like she just described someone farting in the car, but okay.

Demi Lovato

Demi saw her very first ghost when she was just eight years old. It was the start of a beautiful relationship with the ghost community.

In a Buzzfeed interview, the singer revealed her house in Texas is "ridiculously haunted" by a little girl named Emily.

"There were so many times that I saw her when I was growing up," she said. "When I was three years old my mom caught me talking to something by myself. She asked, 'Who are you talking to?' and I said, 'My best friend Emily.' She's playful."

And this is why the idea of parenting terrifies us.

Kate Hudson

In 2014, Kate Hudson revealed that she and her mum Goldie Hawn (both very famous actresses - coincidence?) “see dead people.”

“It is not really seeing, it is feeling a spirit,” she clarified to British TV show 'Alan Carr: Chatty Man,'.

“A fifth energy. I believe in energy. I believe our brains can manifest into visual things.”

The actress added that she once saw “a ghost of a woman with no face,” and went on to share some tips for dealing with a ghostly situation.

“When you see something, you are supposed to tell the energy what year it is and that they don’t belong there,” she said.

Good to know.

Gigi Hadid

“I’ve had a lot of unexplainable experiences with the supernatural,” Gigi previously told Vogue.

“When we were kids, we lived in this really old house, and I was given the attic as my room. We used to hear this weird sound in the closet, and then we asked my dad, and he said this old lady used to live in the house.”

Gigi said she and her siblings actually made friends with the ghost: “We’d be like, ‘Girl, we’ll bring you some tea.'”

We feel the need to point out that ghosts can't actually drink tea, but she's probably figured that out by now.

Ke$ha

Look. It was only a matter of time before these celebrity ghost encounters turned sexy. And Ke$ha, bless her heart and soul, was kind enough to admit during an appearance on Conan in 2012 that it happened to her.

We 100 per cent believe that what she described was not just a sexy dream but also ghost sex.

She told Conan that the ghost started caressing her in her sleep, so they went to the "bone zone" which, in this context, sounds like it could be the R-rated version of the Upside Down from Stranger Things.

"I did go to the bone zone with a ghost," she said. "It was a sexy time, it wasn't, like, sex."

... Righto.

So there you have it. Cold, hard evidence.

All we ask now is that the rest of Hollywood comes through with their ghost stories.
