We don't mean to alarm you but Kourtney Kardashian's four-year-old appears to have a lip ring.

Most four-year-old’s don’t even have their ears pierced, but Kourtney Kardashian appears to have let her daughter Penelope go one (or maybe five) steps further.

The 37-year-old shared a photo of herself in bed next to her sleeping daughter, who had a metal ring protruding from her lip.

In case the four-year-old’s lip ring wasn’t clear from the image, Kardashian pointed it out in the caption.

“Our Oscar Sunday,” she wrote. “Yes, that’s a lip ring. Thanks @kimkardashian.”

Fans expressed their shock at the image, asking the star if the lip ring was real.

“When I was her age I wasn’t even allowed to wear nail polish,” wrote one fan.

“Did you actually get her a LIP RING?” asked another.

However, it’s very likely the lip ring is fake.

Kourtney thanked her sister Kim in the image’s caption which could be her way of telling fans the ring is only a clip on.

The 36-year-old’s first selfie on 2017 featured her sporting a lip ring, which was later revealed to be an accessory and not a real piercing.

I guess we’ll just wait and see if the lip ring disappears from the four-year-old’s face or stays put in the next selfie…
