We've found a $63 Kmart dupe for the trending DISSH suit.

My entire wardrobe is either DISSH or Kmart, so when I woke up today to find out that my two worlds had collided, I had to tell someone pronto. (You're the someone, by the way). 

In case you're not already obsessed with DISSH, it's a mid-level luxury brand that specialises in linen and tailored pieces. Basically, it's a work wardrobe dream. 

And I just knoooow Kmart doesn't need any introduction.

It's not exactly a secret that Kmart creates affordable dupes of more high-end items — just a few months ago they released a collection that rivals Skims at half the price — but when I spotted their latest exxy alternative, I knew I had to get my hands on it.

Because this time, they've released a $63 pinstripe suit that looks pretty damn close to DISSH's iconic $340 one. That's a saving of $277!

Do you know what you could do with $277!? You could buy four more Kmart suits that's what (although I don't recommend it because we don't like overconsumption).

Suits are also great to have in your wardrobe for those days when you really cannot be bothered styling an outfit. The hard work is all done for you, and you can mix and match the pieces and wear them with other things that you already own.

Now, I went around and did some digging, because I wanted to know exactly how similar the two suits were to each other, and here's what I found.

Because the DISSH pinstripe blazer was sold out, I compared the vests between the two retailers instead.

Both are made from a blend of polyester, viscose and elastane, however the Kmart version is lined while the DISSH one isn't. Of course, suits aren't just about fabrication, it's also about the fit and it seems both are quite relaxed and oversized.

As a lover of DISSH, here's my take on it: If you want to invest in something that's high quality and will last for a long time, then looking at the real deal is a good idea. However, if you want to dip your toe into the world of suiting, or just cannot justify the $340 price tag, then Kmart is a great place to start.

The Kmart pinstripe suit also goes up to a size 20, while DISSH stops at size 16, which is worth noting.

Oh, and because I know you're going to want to know how much each individual item costs, let me break it down for you. 

The Kmart suit is made up of three pieces: A blazer, which will set you back $38, trousers that cost $25, and an optional vest that's $20. 

As mentioned before, the matching suit over on DISSH is sold out besides the vest, which is currently on sale for $65. You can also check out the rest of their suiting options here.
