After announcing she desperately wants a third child, Kim Kardashian West has learnt she’ll never be able to fall pregnant again.
In the latest episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, the mum-of-two decides to go ahead with surgery to repair her uterus so she can carry another pregnancy.
“Having more kids is definitely going to be a struggle,” the 36-year-old explained.

“I’ve gone through so much with really bad deliveries that the doctors don’t feel like it’s safe for me to conceive again myself. This surgery is really the one last thing I can try. I want my kids to have siblings and I want to know that I did everything I could to make this happen.”
However, during the surgery there are some complications.
“So there’s a complication with my bladder I had to have a catheter,” Kim said while sitting in the hospital. “It’s super painful and frustrating.”
“Kanye and I have always talked about having more kids, but after what I went through in Paris, the urgency is even greater,” she went on to say to the cameras.

After the surgery the reality TV star is given the heartwrenching news that it was not successful.
“Not only has this been really painful, but now hearing that I can’t carry any more kids, it couldn’t get any worse,” she said. “I mean, f**k, like I really tried everything and I really want this and it’s just not going to happen for me.”
Throughout the episode Kim comes to terms with the fact that she can’t carry another child and starts looking into other options.

“Kanye and I are just going to look into other options and see what we’re comfortable with,” she said.
The idea of surrogacy is mentioned by her sister Kourtney, and Kim agrees that it’s the best option for another sibling for Saint and North.
“I’m definitely leaning more toward I want to try,” Kim tells Kourtney. “After talking to Kanye, I think that I always knew that surrogacy was an option, but I didn’t think it was that realistic of an option. Now, I feel like that’s my reality.”
