Things have gotten even more complicated between Kim Kardashian and her ex-husband, Kanye West. And this time, it involves Sean "Diddy" Combs.
Recently, West publicly accused Kardashian and what he calls the "Kardashian mob" of restricting his access to their four children.
On March 15, 2025, West released a song titled 'Lonely Roads Still Go to Sunshine' featuring his eldest daughter, North West, and Sean "Diddy" Combs. West and Kardashian have had an increasingly acrimonious co-parenting relationship since their split in 2021, and it seems West's decision to put their daughter on a song with Combs — who is currently awaiting trial on federal sex trafficking and racketeering charges — has not been received well by Kardashian.
In screenshots of a text conversation supposedly between West and Kardashian, which were shared by West on social media, it seems Kardashian attempted to block their daughter North from being featured on the song. In the messages, which have not been verified, Kardashian cites her ownership of North's trademark.

"I asked you at the time if I can trademark her name. You said yes. When she's 18 it goes to her. So stop," Kardashian wrote. "I sent paperwork over so she wouldn't be in the Diddy song. To protect her."
