"I got married on ecstasy." Kim Kardashian admits she was high on drugs at her first wedding.

Kim Kardashian has admitted to experimenting with drugs in her early twenties.

Despite previously stating that she steers clear of alcohol and drugs, the reality star made the confession on the latest episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians. 

Speaking to her younger sister Kendall Jenner and Kourtney Kardashian’s ex-partner Scott Disick, the reality star said that she was high during her first wedding to music producer Damon Thomas.

“I didn’t know you got high,” Kendall questioned Kim.

“I got married on ecstasy. The first time,” Kim admitted.

“I did ecstasy once and I got married,” she added.

“I did it again, I made a sex tape. Like, everything bad would happen.”

Kendall and Scott were understandably shocked at the 38-year-old's confession.

"You were high on ecstasy when you did the sex tape!?" Scott asked.

"Absolutely! Everyone knows it, like my jaw was shaking the whole time," she responded.

Kim also admitted to partying until 7am in the morning in Ibiza with her former best friend Paris Hilton.

"I definitely went through a wild phase," Kim said.

Before marrying current husband Kanye West and her short-lived marriage Kris Humphries, Kim was briefly married to Damon Thomas.

The pair eloped in 2000, when Kim was just 19 and they remained together for three years.

In divorce papers leaked to the media, Kim alleged that her former husband had abused her.

According to the documents, Kim claimed that Damon punched her, slammed her against walls and threw her across the room.

He was also allegedly emotionally abusive and controlling.

Speaking to the Today Show after finalising their divorce, Kim said: "You think you know so much about love when you're really young and you look back later and realise it is not what you thought it was."
