Mum-of-three Kourtney Kardashian knows a thing or two about parenting.
Having split from her long time partner Scott Disick midway through last year, the pint-sized 37-year-old is a single mum to sons Mason, 6, and Reign, 16 months, and daughter Penelope, 3.
Now, in an interview with The New Potato, the health nut and reality TV entrepreneur is ready to share some of the mothering wisdom she’s picked up along the way.
So what does she want to tell expecting mums around the world? Back yourself in and “trust your instincts”. Always.
“I think we all have a mother’s instinct when we have kids, so just trust it and stay calm. I remember when I was pregnant with Mason, my mom would always be like, ‘Why isn’t the room painted? Where is the crib? Where is this or that…’ And I was like, ‘People used to have babies in caves; it’s going to be okay’.”
As for mums on the go (AKA every mum on Planet Earth) Kourtney sympathises with the frantic lifestyle of being a new parent. She says that when it comes to carting around baby gear that less is more, and staying calm is always the way to go.
