"I didn’t steal him from anyone": KC has her 'final say' about Married At First Sight.

Although Married At First Sight is well and truly over for 2020, the cast members are not done discussing it.

And honestly, we’re pretty happy about that.

As the majority of reality TV has sadly halted due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we need some sort of drama to distract us. And what better way to do that, than to learn new information about the show from our favourite contestants?

Today, it comes courtesy of KC Osborne.

Although a latecomer to the MAFS 2020 cast, Osborne has been making waves.

She arrived on the show to (fake) marry Drew Brauer. And although their relationship has since ended, another one has formed with none other than fellow castmate, Michael Goonan.

While their romance caused some drama on the show, Osborne wants to set the record straight.

Sharing a tell-all video on her public Instagram profile, Osborne opened up about her feelings towards MAFS, her on-screen marriage and the love she has found since filming ended.

Here’s exactly what she had to say.

On being cast on MAFS.

KC opened the 12-minute video by sharing her thoughts on Married At First Sight and how she feels since being on the reality TV show.

“My MAFS experience was amazing. I’m so grateful that I did it. It kind of just landed on my lap,” she shared.

She continued by explaining how the opportunity came her way. The 31-year-old performing artist said she had only just returned to Australia after living in Los Angeles when the producers approached her for the show.

“I thought I’d meet the producers, do the paperwork and see what happens. A week later, I was walking down the aisle,” she said.

On her relationship with Drew.

Next, KC discussed her relationship with her on-screen husband, Drew Brauer. She shared how their partnership grew, whether they still get along and how he responded to her relationship with Michael Goonan.

“My groom Drew — we were so different,” she began.

“We came from completely different lives but there were things about him that I absolutely loved.

“We were forced to work on things. There were highs and lows… but it was an incredible experience.”

She continued to explain how she felt when their relationship ended and how he responded to her dating Michael.

“I was really sad things didn’t work out with Drew and myself [sic],” she said.

“I really did start to fall for the guy. I can’t say that I was in love, but I had genuine feelings for him,” she continued.

“Around Christmas time, it was a rough period for us because I was hurt and things fell apart. We took some time apart, probably a few weeks where we didn’t talk and then, through a promotion of MAFS, he had asked me if the rumours were true about Michael.

“And sitting in front of Drew, who is such a sincere guy, I couldn’t lie to him. I still get a little choked up when I talk about his response because it just shows the type of person that Drew is.

“He said, ‘Are you happy?’ And I said, ‘Yes.’ He asked, ‘Does he treat you well?’ And I said, ‘Yeah, he does treat me really well.’

“He then said, ‘Well, you know I like Michael. You deserve to be happy. I know how much you love love, and you have my blessing. I hope one day we can all get together and have a beer!”

She finished by explaining their relationship today.

“We stayed in touch and we’re friends. It means so much that we had an amicable breakup,” said KC.

On how she and Michael began dating.

She started by sharing that she got to know both Stacey and Michael on the show because they were neighbours with her and Drew, and how that eventually led to a first date between her and Michael.

“How it came about with Michael and I [sic], it was so organic, we got along so well throughout the show,” she explained.

But the reunion show proved pivotal. It was during that episode that an alleged cheating scandal between Stacey and Mikey Pembroke surfaced.

“During the reunion, my heart absolutely broke for [Michael]. I don’t want to go and talk about Stacey and what I think. But at the reunion, at that moment, I was Team Michael.

“But we all make mistakes,” she shared.

“After that situation, Michael would reach out to me or I would check that he was okay. When he came to Sydney and wanted to get a drink with me, I did ask Stacey. I thought that was the polite thing to do.

“But when I asked Stacey, she did snap at me,” KC explained.

KC ended by sharing that since the first date, their friendship grew into a relationship and the two are now extremely happy together.

“That was that. Things happened; I didn’t steal him from anyone. We were both single. Honestly, when I look back, I didn’t mean to hurt anyone. I’m so genuine. Just the thought of hurting someone hurts me.

“But I do believe Michael came into my life for a reason and this is the happiest I have ever been with someone,” she shared.

On her relationship with Stacey.

“I did have conversations with Stacey. I think I sent her a message or two after the show. But you know, we know these people for five or six weeks and to say that I dogged my friend… I don’t know. Think of it as you may, but by the end of the show, you learn things about each other,” she said.

“And from what I saw and got to know, about some people just made me go, that’s them, but they’re not for me. And I don’t really want them in my life.”

On her plans for the future.

Lastly, KC ended her tell-all by sharing her plans for the future. She discussed how she wants to focus on the next chapter with Michael, focus on her dance teaching and launch her beauty line.

“Now I’m just ready for the next chapter in my life. I’m so passionate about teaching my dance to kids and to adults. And as great as MAFS was, it did give me a platform and I did meet someone that I love, teaching is the most rewarding thing.

“I don’t need a man, I don’t need Michael to get nice things. I’m a hard worker. I have a beauty line coming out, which I’ll talk about on Tuesday,” she too revealed.
