If you're a fan of storytimes, chances are you've come across the smiling face of Kayla Jade telling you exactly what she's going to do to Peggy Sue's backside.

The Australian sex-worker and mum-of-two has gained an audience of adoring fans for her raunchy and wild storytimes about the world of sex work — from A-list orgies to botched surgeries and the client nicknamed Peggy Sue.

From OnlyFans to outer suburbia, from sex parties to chicken coops — Kayla has somehow lived 10 lives in the space of one, and she's just getting started.

Kayla grew up in a loving family with a buzzing social life. But she struggled at school and found herself constantly questioning, "What's wrong with me? Why can't I just be normal?"

It wasn't until an ADHD diagnosis at 29 that everything fell into place.

"Getting diagnosed was definitely like another piece of the puzzle, like, 'Oh, this makes so much sense'," she said.

Her sliding doors moment came when she looked at everyone in her hometown, in New Zealand, and realised she wanted something different.

"I'm pretty impulsive. So I was just like, 'F*** it.' Booked a flight the next day," she recalled.

She landed on the Gold Coast with no friends or family, but a sense of hope.

From Google searches to global success.

Kayla never planned to become a sex worker, but when the pandemic hit, and she saw "amazing women making so much money and getting the money themselves", she knew she had to try.

"I had to basically Google how to make an OnlyFans," she said. "I was like, if I'm going to put this stuff out there, I'm going to go all out."

When her OnlyFans blew up, she expanded to full-service work.

"I had friends throughout the industry that were in-person workers. So I was learning from them," she said.

"I'm so glad that I had that experience in sex work before I got into the in-person work. Because if I just started in-personal work when I was fresh 18, I probably would have got myself into some really sh**** situations."

Kayla started sharing her stories online and counting giant wads of cash — mainly just for her other sex-worker friends. But when her content blew up, fame brought new responsibility.

Her TikTok money counts went viral, but with fame came responsibility. She stopped posting them when she realised young women might see the cash without understanding the dangers.

But here's the thing Kayla wants everyone to know — it's not all wads of cash and designer handbags.

"I've had situations where people have taken advantage of the situation," she said.

"A predator can easily create a platform. So the biggest thing is just finding friends in the industry and checking references."

The Turkey nightmare.

Kayla's worst experience came during a botched BBL in Turkey.

"I went through everyone's worst nightmare of literally waking up on the operating table while they were operating on me, not being able to move, being paralysed, but feeling everything," she said.

The horror continued.

"The next day, literally assaulted by a male nurse while I was getting changed... I think back to the state that I was in, I was not even a person."

She ended up visiting an Australian surgeon to fix the botched procedure. But it taught her something important about self-acceptance.

"When you start having surgery, it plays with your mind," she said.

"I think now I'm the happiest that I've been, and I don't think about surgery, I don't think about Botox."

The dating equation.

Her family discovered her work through word of mouth, but surprisingly, it brought them closer.

But there's one area of her life where Kayla has made a conscious choice to close herself off: dating.

She faces an impossible equation.

"I want to be with a person who is okay with me being a sex-worker, but I also want to be with a person who doesn't want me to sleep with other men," she said. "So I know that when I do become in a relationship, I will have to stop being a sex-worker.

"When I eventually get into a relationship, it's when I'm ready to settle down."

Her co-parenting arrangement with her ex works perfectly.

"We had kids very young, and from the get-go, we said that if it wasn't gonna work out, we're just gonna stick together, be good friends for the kids," she said.

"He put the faith in me, and it paid off, because now he can just work for me, which is great… He's a blessing."

She knows people judge her for being a mum and sex worker, but she doesn't care.

"I think people should stop worrying about what I teach my kids and maybe try and worry about what they're teaching their kids," she said.

Peggy Sue and celebrity encounters.

Kayla's most famous client became an internet sensation.

"So Peggy Sue is a client of mine who likes to get pegged in the butt... I just started calling him that because I thought it was a funny name," Kayla explained.

"He likes a lot of large members in his behind… I would talk about our dates together, and what I was going to rear end him with next... every time I talked about him, people love to hear it."

The rumour mill ran wild that Peggy Sue was Peter Dutton.

During the election campaign, Dutton's TikTok comments were flooded with references to Peggy Sue and pegging. Political commentators were baffled. The internet was obsessed.

Asked point-blank if it was Dutton, Kayla replied: "No, he wasn't. I don't want to get sued."

"It really was just something that blew up beyond me," she added.

As for Peggy Sue's real identity, Kayla's keeping tight-lipped, but hints he's "high up in his industry" though not a public personality.

"I think if I said who he was, I don't know if people would be happy or disappointed," she said. "It would be a shock factor, but not so much in celebrity culture."

But Peggy Sue isn't Kayla's only famous client. She's finally ready to tell the whole truth about an A-lister encounter.

"I did a story about the A-Lister who I saw, who flew me halfway across the world in LA," she recalled.

"The first time I saw him, it was full on sex parties, orgies, a lot of intense stuff.

"I was living at this palace for a week, and… there would just be new things every day. I would be lying by the pool, and there's a sketch artist sketching me. It was just a lot of parties, a lot of meeting celebrities, crazy s**t.

"But then he invited me a second time, and it got a bit intense. It got very possessive. He became a little obsessed."

When she wanted to leave, "he would just bombard me... There were times where I was a little bit worried."

What's next?

Kayla's work has given her something she never expected: freedom.

"I always struggled with school. I never thought that I would have a career where I could make money," she said.

"I had duct tape covered all over my car because I couldn't afford a new car."

She's showing no signs of slowing down.

"I feel like a lot of sex workers have said you will know when you no longer want to be in the industry — there's something that just clicks inside you, and you're just like, 'Nah, I'm done'," she said.

"I meet women every day who come up to me and tell me how my videos have helped them… If I can make someone's day just by giving them a little something to look forward to, that's the best thing."

Her dream is simple.

"Being able to buy my kids a house each would be incredible, because we live in a time now where it's becoming impossible for that generation to buy a house."

As for the future?

"I could have never predicted five years ago where I would be now," she said.

"So I think I've never planned anything, and I think that's always worked out in my favour. I'm just happy to go with the flow and see where it takes me.

"At the moment, I'm happy, and that's all that matters."
