And the first Photoshop victim of 2014 is...?

1. The latest Photoshop victim is Katy Perry’s right hand.

Katy Perry has been photoshopped so much in the past that the most recent incident took some examining to determine what exactly was wrong with the image. Flawless skin, tick, perfect body, tick, two arms and legs, tick. Wait, two arms… hang on – two left arms. Oh dear.

2. Someone forgot to tell Kim Kardashian that last year was the year of the selfie.

Sooooo, Kim Kardashian has Instagramed these pics. And the Internet’s gone a little crazy as it does anytime Kim Instagrams anything.

The photos were taken in her bathroom and are titled “Getting it right for the new year”.

3. Lena Durham and Shia LeBeouf are like, totes fighting on Twitter right now.

Okay, so this is a little complicated, but stay with us.

It seems Shia LeBeouf (you know him? Apparently he was in Transformers and some other stuff) has been engaging in acts of plagiarism.  Having been caught out, Shia went to great lengths to apologise to the original author of the work, artist Daniel Clowes.  Keen to make sure that it was a very public apology, Shia hired a sky writer to tell the world he was sorry.

This didn’t sit well with Lena Durham (you know her, she created GIRLS) and she let the world know via Twitter what she really thought of Shia and his fancy skywriting. Which was followed by a tweet by Shia a little later that same night.

Lena retorted that she vaguely recognised Shia’s apology as her own work. Boom.

No word yet if the victim of the plagiarism accepted Shia’s apology, but we’ll keep you posted.

4. Sandra Bullock and Julia Roberts have joint custody of George Clooney. Say whatttt?

The little known Palm Springs International Film Festival was the forum for much celebrity frivolity over the weekend.

Held in the desert and free from the rigours of live broadcast, those in attendance took the opportunity to have a bit of fun.  The most notable contribution came from Sandra Bullock when she used her speech to share what she has learned about herself on the internet.

The most notable thing she discovered? That apparently she and Julia Roberts have decided to share joint custody of George Clooney in an effort to settle an ongoing dispute between the two.

“Julia (Roberts), apparently you and I are in a dispute over George Clooney. We talked about this. It’s shared custody and we both are fine with it,” she said.

So… Do you think they might let us have supervised access every once and while?

5. Cameron Diaz declares that she likes women with bush.

So, Cameron Diaz has a message for you. In her new book, The Body Book: The law of Hunger, the Science of Strength, and Other Ways to Love Your Amazing Body, Cameron suggests that women undertaking copious amounts of laser hair removal need to consider the fact that one day they may wish to grow out their lady garden when fashion changes.

“It’s a personal decision, but I’m just putting it out there: Consider leaving your vagina fully dressed, ladies. Twenty years from now, you will still want to be presenting it to someone special, and it would be nice to let him or her unwrap it like the gift that it is.”

Yep that’s right. Forget that pesky hair removal and go retro, it’s all the rage.

6. Hilary Clinton rules the world and rocks bangs at the same time. We can dream right? 

As the world waits with baited breath as to whether Hilary Clinton will run as a Democratic candidate for the American Presidency in 2016, news has broken that Hilary has changed her hairstyle. Attending the swearing in of the new New York Mayor, Bill de Blasio, Hilary revealed her new bangs. Or a fringe, as we like to call it here in Aus.

Cute, huh?

7. Celebs show their support for Syrian refugees.

In the latest attempt to focus attention on the plight of Syrian refugees, Unicef,United Kingdom enlisted the support of British celebrities Ewan McGregor, Michael Sheen, Tom Hiddleston, Emma Bunton, Rita Ora and Tinie Tempah to produce a video.

The packages opens with footage of the stars saying there is “No place like home” and asks viewers to open their eyes to the crisis in Syria.  Please share to show your support.

8. Robert Downey Jnr is trying to kickstart Mel Gibson’s career. 

Robert Downery Jnr has decided he is going to kick start the career of his good friends, Jodie Foster and Mel Gibson. Downey Jnr believes that he can help them both, achieve the kind of success he has enjoyed since taking on the role of Iron Man.

News has filtered out that Downey Jnr believes Gibson and Foster would be perfect for a role in the next Avengers film.  Apparently this campaign has not gone down well with the maker of the Marvel series, which just happen to be one the most well known Jewish Businessmen in Hollywood.

It’s feared that Gibson’s anti-Semitic rants and poor behaviour are the biggest barriers to Downey Jnr’s dreams coming true.

Charlie Sheen has reportedly married a porn star because of course.

The Internet is buzzing with rumours that Charlie Sheen has married his girlfriend, porn star Brett Rossi. Where did the rumours come from? Sheen, obviously, who tweeted the following:
