Fluff: Katy Perry dresses as a geisha. Gets slammed.

It’s the morning after the 2013 American Music Awards. And everyone’s talking about… Katy Perry.

Miss Perry has been accused of racism after dressing as a geisha for her performance of ‘Unconditionally’.

It’s not without context – the singer dressed as a geisha during her tour of Japan, and decided to re-use the costume for her AMA performance. But after seeing it yesterday, the Twitttersphere went into meltdown accusing the 29-year-old of cultural misappropriation.

One tweeted: “This is the performance equivalent of an offensive Halloween costume,” another said, “Oh, good. Katy Perry is dressed as a geisha. I was afraid her sharp vocals would outshine her racism.”

– Miley Cyrus just keeps going above and beyond; her performance of Wrecking Ball featured a huge space kitten, and she dressed in a matching cat-printed bikini. At one point, the kitten cried, and everyone was sad. Take a look:

– Lady Gaga rocked up to the red carpet on a horse, presumably just because she could. Miley Cyrus was not at all impressed, and proceeded to complain to red carpet reporters: “What a f—ing … sorry! What a big scene stealer! Next time, I’m going to come in on a dragon.”

We’re going to hold her to that.

– Justin Timberlake won three AMAs and, on his way to accept the second one, made a little pit-stop at Taylor Swift’s seat so they could exchange Taylor-Swift-excited-faces. Check out the GIF that resulted – it’s pretty excellent.

– Speaking of Taylor – she was voted the American Music Awards artist of the year for a third time, and won four awards all up.

The Voice gets a MAJOR shake-up in 2014.

It’s official – we have ourselves some new coaches for The Voice in 2014. The Voice Australia announced on their Twitter account that Ricky Martin and Joel Madden will be back in 2014 as coaches, and will be joined by Kylie Minogue and Will.I.Am:

Delta Goodrem has announced that she won’t be returning as a judge of The Voice in 2014. She posted the below announcement on her Twitter and Instagram, explaining that while she won’t be appearing on the show, she will be appearing on the kids’ version as a coach:

Queen B releases new song.

A new song, titled ‘God Made You Beautiful’, leaked on the internet last Friday. The song is typically epic, with Beyonce belting out lines such as, “When you were born the angels sighed in delight” and “You bring me back to life, you make everything right” – leaving no question that the song is a dedication to her daughter Blue Ivy.

Beyonce has since uploaded a full version of the song online, giving everyone a much sought-after sample of her upcoming album:

Everyone already wants Hunger Games star, Jennifer Lawrence, to be their best friend. And now a picture of her from middle school has been posted online, further proving that Lawrence is awesome. Check it:

A user named miloblue12 posted it on Reddit, claiming that Lawrence went to their middle school and saying that “she hasn’t changed much since”, adding that she was “witty as hell”.

Lawrence went to Kammerer Middle School in Louisville, Kentucky.
