Following their arrival on Monday, the Royals spent a 'rest day' yesterday at Wharekauhau Lodge, on the edge of Wellington, where they're spending some quality (and highly isolated) time as a family in the 'cottage suite.'

The hideaway lodge is often listed on the world's top 20 resort hideaways and has welcomed Tom Cruise, Meg Ryan, Bill Gates and Nicole Kidman through its doors.
Kate, Will and George will soon move on to stay in the newly renovated Government House in Wellington, as part of their ten day stay in the country. Their first official engagement took place this afternoon Prince George's first playdate.
