Can someone check in on the Kardashians?

Like us mere mortals, the Kardashians have to fill their time. After all, they are between reality TV seasons and none of them are currently pregnant.

But they're making some…real choices.

In the wise words of Wicked, something has changed within thee, something is not the same.

Let's start with Kim Kardashian. Amid the sea of bikini selfies on her Instagram, Kim has hard-launched a new relationship… with a robot.

In a rogue-as-hell photoshoot, the Skims founder posed with Tesla's Optimus robot.

This would be one (odd) thing, but the photos are weirdly… sexy.

Kim is wearing Balenciaga tights that are printed to appear like thigh-high stockings, and she is seemingly giving this robot a lap dance as she stares seductively down the lens.

Then there's a close-up of Kim interlacing fingers with her new futuristic friend.

What in fresh hell, umm… is happening here?

The social media star's caption offered no explanation as it was simply an alien emoji. Thanks for clarifying, Kimbo.

"This is so weird," read one comment with over 40,000 likes.

Yes. Yes, it is.

I'm not a hater. Kim can do whatever Kim wants but please, just tell us what is going on.

But more generally, there's something going on with this family.

Khloe Kardashian has just launched her first solo fragrance, XO Khloé, which sounds about right, but it's another business venture that's a tad random.

She's enlisted the help of her daughter True and mum, Kris Jenner, to promote some strange punching game.

Boxballen is some sort of activity that involves a headband and a ball. Apparently, Khloe is mad for it (for the right price).

Then there's Khloe's continued promotion of Kardashian Kloset, a hub for the sisters to sell their used designer clothes and accessories.

When the venture was announced, people weren't super enthused.

Things aren't much more normal for Kourtney Kardashian, who shared herself and her husband, Travis Barker, posing as Gomez and Morticia Addams.

The only problem was they posted them in November, over a week out from Halloween.

Back in October, the couple embraced the spooky season a little too hard. Kourtney was criticised for posting two inflated skeletons seemingly (pardon the pun) boning each other.

It didn't tickle everyone's funny bone.

But along with some Kardashians posting spicy photoshoots and others try to make any stray dollar they can, there is one constant: they will always coordinate their holiday outfits.

But before you think that the Kardashians are back to business, on another post Kim debuted a belly piercing.

The 44-year-old is embracing the '00s in a big way, and I can't help but be impressed.

Kim actually first got her belly pierced in 2007 on Keeping Up with the Kardashians and clearly, the hole is still there.

But why wouldn't you want to show off a flashy piercing when you've got a new robot lover to seduce!

Until the next season of The Kardashians rolls around, don't expect these gals to get any less weird.
