Kanye West just released his first piece of womenswear, and sir, is that a disposable g-string?

Are you still recovering from what you saw on the 2025 Grammy Awards red carpet?

I'm talking about the already-infamous moment, now burnt into our collective retinas, when Bianca Censori, standing beside her husband, Kanye 'Ye' West, removed her fur coat, revealing a completely see-through dress (with no bra or knickers on) that left precisely nothing to the imagination.

Watch: Kanye West and Bianca Censori on the red carpet. Post continues below.

While we, looking on, were left clutching our pearls, and imagining our pubes sprouting out if we were to don the look ourselves.

Like those grass-head dolls we used to make as kids. But upside down.

It was a lot.

But if anyone lives and dies by the saying 'any publicity is good publicity', it's Kanye West.

The day after the Grammys, the American rapper, 47, started churning out content on his fashion label's Instagram. It was for the drop of YZY's first piece of womenswear.

And a 'piece' it is — well, actually it looks more like the small amount of fabric you wear when getting a spray tan. Or a Brazilian wax, for those who like to stay covered, well kind of. I've been offered them in massages too.

Known as the humble paper disposable g-string.

For just $53 AUD (plus a 6-8 week shipping wait), you could be the proud owner of this revolutionary 'bodysuit'.

But we've seen this piece before.

When I realised this was the very same piece Censori wore to a Grammys afterparty — as seen in paparazzi photos shared on Ye's fascinating Instagram stories — I noticed it is actually bigger than the spray tan g-strings. Just.

That, sir, is some feedback for your marketing team. It looks better on your wife than the shrivelled disposable paper g-string on your website.

But that is the only feedback I have for your marketing team.

After disappearing down a Yeezy rabbit hole, otherwise known as his Instagram stories (and very quickly screenshotting them before they're deleted — WHY does he do that?), I learned this was all part of his grand plan. ALL OF IT.

In an impressive display of Google searches and graph presentations, he shared the metrics of his stunt on his stories, thoughtfully curated below.

My favourite part was when he clarified that the planet is 'called earth'. His wife was the most googled person on the planet called earth. Does anyone else have a major case of the ick?

Demonstrating how he created the publicity freight train, after the corporate Google metric presentations, where he clarified the planet was called earth, to promote the new spray tan g-string, sorry, bodysuit for sale on his website. He then finished with the mic drop, 'WE BEAT THE GRAMMIES'.

Wow.

My initial feedback of the grass head doll issue applies to this bodysuit, too.

And to complete the story we all didn't know we were on a marketing junket for, he has now dropped his second piece of womenswear.

Drum roll… THAT INVISIBLE DRESS… which he has aptly called "The Invisible Dress".

And that, as we say in the marketing game, 'does what it says on the tin'.

Because not only was it so invisible — I may have let out a little gasp when I first saw the photos of her wearing it on the red carpet — but also at the time of writing this, it doesn't appear to be visible on his website for sale, unlike the spray tan g-string-body-suit.

As I have breasts that don't stand up without an over-the-shoulder boulder holder level of support, and I have pubes, this is one trend I won't be climbing on, unfortunately.

But I will be waiting with popcorn to see what womenswear he releases next.
