November 2024: Kanye West is accused of choking a model on the set of a 2010 music video.
According to a complaint filed in federal court in November 2024, which was obtained by USA TODAY, former America's Next Top Model contestant Jennifer An was on the set of La Roux's 'In for the Kill' music video when West allegedly choked her with both of his hands.
An was allegedly singled out by Ye during a shoot when he pointed at her and said, "Give me the Asian girl." The complaint claims Ye smothered her, shoved his fingers into her throat, and shouted, "This is art. This is f***ing art. I am like Picasso," while instructing cameras to film. Despite being surrounded by others, An reportedly felt isolated and helpless.
