Celeb news: Justin Bieber ARRESTED

Yes, Justin Bieber has really done it this time. The 19-year-old Canadian pop star/ rebel has been arrested in Miami for drag-racing a yellow Lamborghini under the influence of marijuana, alcohol and his mother’s prescription pills.

Allegedly, he launched into a sweary rant when the police pulled him over. “What the fuck are you doing? Why are you stopping me?” he yelled. We can’t be sure, but we reckon there might have been a few “Do you know who I am?” thrown in there too.

He was dragged into the Miami Beach police station for resisting arrest.

And he’s just taken the happiest celebrity mugshot we’ve ever seen:

 The Biebs has posted his $2800 bail and been released. The first thing he did upon leaving the police station is jump on his huge shiny black car and scream to his fans.

Because he just doesn’t care for his dignity anymore.

The date is a prize in a raffle, as part of a fundraising effort for the Satellite Sentinel Project. It includes flights  to New York for the winner and a friend, the chance to chill with the Cloonz backstage at David Letterman, walk the red carpet with him at the premiere of his new film Monuments Men and go to the after party. AND you get a night in a swanky hotel.

Former Disney star Vanessa Hudgens just couldn’t contain herself when she bumped into Meryl Streep backstage at The Ellen Show.

The 25-year-old actress, who was appearing on the show to promote her new film Gimme Shelter, was left completely starstruck after her encounter with the billion-time Oscar winner. She told Ellen, “She’s so beautiful it’s mind-blowing. She just radiates light, and love and talent. She’s amazing!”

Ellen then presented her with a mug that Meryl had used when she was on the show. And that’s when things got a little bit creepy.

Superstar producer Adam Boland leaves Network Ten to recover

Executive Producer of breakfast TV shows Wake Up and Studio 10 Adam Boland has quit, citing mental illness as his reason.

“We are sorry to lose Adam. But we fully understand and support his decision to take a break from the television industry and focus on restoring his health,” he said. “We are very grateful to Adam for the passion, enthusiasm and drive he brought to his role at Ten over the past 10 months. He is leaving a great legacy. Studio 10 has been a success since day one and is being increasingly embraced by viewers and advertisers. Wake Up has strong potential and will develop further this year.”

We’re thinking of Adam today, and wishing him a safe, full recovery.

Dean McDermott, 47, has been in the tabloids a lot recently… having been busted in December cheating on Tori with a 28-year-old mystery woman. The couple, who spent most of their relationship with reality tv cameras rolling, have been estranged since then.

There have been rumours McDermott had checked into rehab, and he’s just confirmed that to PEOPLE in a remorseful statement:

“I am truly sorry for the mistakes I have made and for the pain I’ve caused my family. I take full responsibility for my actions and have voluntarily checked myself into a treatment center to address some health and personal issues.”

McDermott’s ex-wife  Mary Jo Eustace (the woman he left to be with Spelling) has come out in support of his decision to seek help. “I wish Dean only the best in his struggle to overcome the demons he has been wrestling with for many years, so he can become the father and the man I know he wants to be,” the Canadian actress, 51, said.
