I've only ever had one true enemy in my life: my thin hair.
My hair has always been on the thin and fine side — so thin, in fact, that just the suggestion of wind, the mention of heat or the whisper of approaching rain was enough to see it disintegrate into loose strands invisible to the average human eye.
So far, I've tried every trick in the book: thickening powders and dry shampoos, teasing and backcombing like an old-school beauty queen and using so many heat styling tools that my bathroom often filled with smoke.
