Dillard, the fourth born in to the Duggar family has told PEOPLE that Israel put her through 70 hours of labour. That's 2.9 days guys - that takes commitment.

Israel was born on April 6th, and Dillard was hoping she'd be able to have a smooth natural birth at home.

"His birth didn't go to plan," she told PEOPLE.

But she said that it was all worth it, just to have her little man in the world. She even said she wouldn't do anything differently (maybe cut down the hours a little bit?)

The baby seemed to be planning a fashionably late entrance from the beginning, after exceeding his March 24th due date by quite some time.

"I told myself first-time mums often go a week and a half over," Dillard told PEOPLE. Ultimately she ate spicy food to try and help get her in to labour.

The 23-year-old waited 20 hours. 20 HOURS at home before she decided she needed to go to the hospital. The trigger was when the mum-to-be saw a little stain of waste that may have been a very early sign of foetal distress.

From this time, Dillard says she was continuously praying to God because she was frightened and nervous.

When she got to the hospital they offered her Pitocin - a hormone that can help speed up labour - but she declined it as well as saying no to pain medication. But the 70 hour mark broke her, the baby had flipped so he was sideways AND upside down and hadn't started descending.

Finally the couple decided a C-section was the best option and brought baby Israel in to the world at 11:49pm.

"I love our birth story because it bonded us so well," Dillard told PEOPLE.

She also swooned over how great a father Derrick had been. She told the publication, "I still haven't changed a single diaper. Derick has been changing them all."
