'Trust me when I say these 7 jewellery trends are going to be everywhere in 2025.'

Let me be real with you: whether you're a minimalist who likes simple and clean lines or a maximalist thriving on more is more, jewellery is the secret weapon that takes your look from basic to bloody brilliant.

It's like seasoning your fave dish. Without it, things are just a little…bland. And as a personal stylist, I've seen this in action time and time again.

I can't tell you how many times clients have had that "aha" moment when we add the right jewellery to an outfit. Case in point, a basic white tee that feels a bit meh suddenly transforms into something with a simple pendant necklace. It's pure magic, a small tweak with a big payoff.

Now, I'll admit, I'm not a full-blown maximalist when it comes to jewellery. I sit comfortably in the middle, let's call it jewellery Switzerland. I love gold jewellery, fine pieces, but I'll also happily dip into statement earrings or brooches when the mood strikes. And don't even get me started on layered beads for summer, it's an instant yes for me.

And lately, the jewellery trends have been nothing short of chef's kiss.

So let's check out the jewellery trends that will be huge in 2025 you can try right now.

Charmed everything.

This isn't the first time I've written about charmed jewellery trending aka "charmcore" and I doubt it'll be the last. Because honestly, charmed jewellery isn't just a trend, it's a feeling. Right now, it's popping up everywhere — necklaces, bracelets, keyrings, bag chains, charms on shoes, and even nails (yes, nails). But what makes this resurgence so captivating isn't just the playful nostalgia — it's the deeper meaning behind it.

After years of everyone dressing a little same same, charmed jewellery feels refreshingly personal. These aren't just accessories, they're little pieces of your stories, memories, moments, quirks all worn where the world can see. And here's the best part: you don't need to break the bank to get in on it. Got a bag you already love? Amazing. Just add a few trinkets, bits, and bobs to make it yours.

Brooches are back.

I'll admit it, when I used to think of brooches, my mind went straight to my nan pinning one onto her cardigan before heading out. But let me tell you, brooches are having a serious glow-up.

From vintage treasures to more modern designs to even quirky options, anything goes. So, how are we styling them this time around? We're layering them over buttons on dresses and with a mix of oversized gold shells, understated pearls, and everything in between. We're still pinning them onto blazer lapels, and even adding them to hats for a playful twist.

Honestly, don't sleep on this jewellery trend. Brooches are the easiest way to sprinkle a little fun and personality into your outfit and who doesn't want that?

Beaded jewellery.

The revival I'm totally here for. After a few years of fine jewellery dominating everyone's wish lists (guilty as charged), it's refreshing to see we've got more options again — because, yes, beaded jewellery is officially back in business. Do we thank Tay Tay for this resurgence? The effortlessly cool girls on the streets? And let's not forget the many cultures that have been showcasing the beauty of beaded jewellery for many generations to draw inspiration from.

We're talking about beads on fishing line, the colourful, nostalgic kind mixed together like a joyful, chaotic arts and craft project (in the best way possible). But it doesn't stop there. This revival also includes bigger bolder beads made out of gems and stones, and we're talking necklaces and bracelets, and yes stacking is allowed and, of course, you can also add charms.

Pearls are back.

Let's be honest. did pearls ever really go anywhere? Not a chance. But this time, we're not just focusing on the polished, delicate, quiet-luxury vibes, yes they're still timeless, but what is also trending is the mismatched, uneven, not-even-real pearls. And let's give a shoutout to Gen Z, who have truly helped revive this trend. Over the years, I've seen them layering pearls—and even the guys are getting in on it.

What's great about this trend is its unapologetic imperfection. It's not just about perfectly round freshwater pearls anymore. It's about the mismatched, the chaotic, and, honestly, whatever feels fun. The best part? They don't even have to be real pearls, it's all about the vibe.

Stacked bracelets and cuffs.

Jewellery trends have been giving a subtle nod to the '80s lately, and let me tell you, stacked bracelets and cuffs are one throwback I'm fully on board with. There's something about piling them up your arm that just makes sense to me.

We're talking chunky metal options stacked on top of one another, sometimes even up both arms (because why not?). And right now, resin bracelets are having a moment, adding a pop of colour and texture that makes your outfit feel instantly more extra.

The best part? There's no such thing as too much here. Whether you go sleek and metallic or mix in playful resin pieces, stacked bracelets are an easy way to turn up the volume on your look, literally and figuratively.

Pendant necklaces.

When I say pendant necklaces, I'm not just talking about the delicate, dainty fine jewellery ones (though yes, they're here to stay). I mean the big players too, the bold on a cord styles, chunky stones, oversized metals, and long pendants that make a statement before you even say a word.

And for the maximalists, I can hear you rejoicing. We're layering them now, because why stop at one when you can wear three? And colour is very much on the table too not only just your metals, think turquoise, jade, and reds. Whether you're going for earthy vibes or unapologetically loud, there's a pendant style for every mood.

Shell jewellery.

I've spent yet another European summer scrolling from my wintry bed (in layers, naturally), and one thing was crystal clear: shell jewellery was everywhere. Now, the time has finally come for us down under to dive in and embrace this coastal cool trend once again (another Y2K trend that is in full swing)

We're talking statement shell earrings in mixed metals and bold coloured shells dangling from beaded necklaces, and charmed shell bracelets that practically scream vacay mode. Oh, and let's not forget anklets (yes, they're back), shell rings, and even roped shells on necklaces.

You get can get your shell on with refined materials to budget-friendly DIYs. There is nothing off-limits.
