Orange is the New Black actress Ruby Rose has documented girlfriend Jessica Origliasso’s tattoo removal on Instagram, proving it is not a procedure for the faint-hearted.
Filmed while Origliasso, 31, was lying on a bed with the laser treatment being administered on her arm, Ruby Rose detailed the experience by stealing her new girlfriend’s phone.

Posting to both her Instagram story and Instagram page, the video itself shows the couple in a small room, sporting protective eyewear and holding hands as Origliasso undergoes what is considered to be a hugely painful experience.
In one shot, Origliasso holds tight to the 30-year-old’s hand, kissing the top of her fingers just days after the couple announced they made their own relationship official by getting matching tattoos.
The removal session is just one part of an arduous road in removing her tattoos.
The Veronica’s singer first announced her desire to remove some of her tattoos all the way back in 2014, writing on Instagram at the time that “people grow and change through their journey in life,” and it was for this reason she had decided to remove some her own tattoos.
It was less than a month ago that the duo announced they had rekindled their love, confirming they re-united while filming a new video clip in an exclusive interview with News Corp.
Rose and Origliasso ended up playing romantic partners in the new clip, and it was during filming that the two fell back in love, says Origliasso.
“It’s a little confronting,” she says. “Ruby and I laugh about how people will be seeing us [falling back in love] in real time, now immortalised forever in this video.
“But she’s incredible. I’m so proud to be with a woman I not only adore but I respect and admire highly. She is the kindest, most ambitious, most compassionate woman.”
It isn’t the first time the two have been in a relationship after initially dating over eight years ago when Origliasso faced intense media scrutiny about her sexuality.
