Jennifer Aniston's boyfriend just shared how their love story began.

Last year, we learnt the Morning Wars actress had been hypnotised by a new man.

Now, the man himself, Jim Curtis, has weighed in on how their love story began.

Curtis was asked about his relationship with the Friends star during his appearance on the Today Show on Monday and shared their story.

"We were just introduced by friends. That's it. We found out that we had mutual friends and we started to just chat," he said, when asked how the pair met.

It wasn't instant sparks, but a slow, friends-to-lovers burn.

"It took a long time, we chatted for a long time and we became close," Curtis said.

And we finally know how long these lovebirds have been together.

"A long time, months now, almost close to a year," Curtis shared.

The couple went Instagram official with their romance in November when Aniston shared a photo with her arms around Curtis and the caption, "Happy birthday my love Cherished ❤️".

Curtis is a well-known hypnotist on the internet. According to his Instagram, he describes himself as "master hypnotist, transformational coach, and author."

Aniston has long been a fan of the holistic wellbeing practice. She can't get enough of the stuff. Last year, she revealed she had just gotten into trying hypnosis to overcome her fear of flying.

"I have been doing some hypnosis lately, and one of the requirements is to remove all of those superstitions," she told Travel + Leisure in April 2025.

Aniston and Curtis were spotted vacationing together in Mallorca, Spain, over the Fourth of July weekend in 2025.

The holiday was a bit of a double date as they were joined by Aniston's close pals Jason Bateman and Amanda Anka. Paparazzi photos from the trip show Aniston and Curtis living their best lives, boarding vans and celebrating on a yacht. Must be nice!

About a month prior to the Mallorca trip, Aniston and Curtis were seen together at the luxury hotel Ventana Big Sur in Northern California.

In May, Aniston even included Curtis' book, Shift: Quantum Manifestation Guide, in an Instagram post, clearly showing her appreciation for his work.

So whomst is this man who has left our beloved Jen hypnotised?

Curtis is renowned for his work in wellness, self-help, and emotional healing, with a large following of half a million on Instagram where he shares affirmations and advice on overcoming trauma and finding love. He has authored books on manifestation and personal growth.

At the end of the day, all we really want is for Jen to be happy — and it seems the key to that is a handsome hypnotist named Jim.
