1. A photo from November had fans convinced Laura Byrne was pregnant. But we’re… confused.

In some truly excellent Christmas news, The Bachelor’s Matty J and Laura Byrne have announced they’re expecting their first child.

The couple who met on the 2016 season of The Bachelor announced that they are 15 weeks pregnant on Instagram.

But according to the Daily Mail, fans were speculating about Laura Byrne’s baby bump in November… and we’re confused.

The photo, from November 20, when Laura would have been about 11 weeks pregnant, looks a lot like… a very normal stomach.

That's us after half a sandwich or a glass of champagne.

Luckily, the rumours were founded.

Congratulations to the happy couple.

It's a tough life being a royal.

Living in palaces, wearing millions of dollars worth of fancy clothes and jewellery, getting to go to cool events and having Britain pay your salary.

But, in all seriousness, the Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle is finding one rule that comes with being royal hard to abide by.

No social media.

Whether she misses posting selfies and yoga shots is unconfirmed, but according to Us Weekly, the 37-year-old does miss having her own voice on social media, especially in regards to defending herself against the many rumours and stories about her in the media.

“It’s just been frustrating and stressful to have no voice,” a royal insider told Us Weekly.

“She’s always relied on her own voice to stand up for others, and for herself. So not being able to say anything is a debilitating feeling. She’s always been able to clap back on social media and now she can’t.”

To be fair, we totally get this. Instead, we presume Meghan only has a group chat with Prince Harry, Prince William and Kate Middleton to vent about all this stuff in.

Serena Williams is probably in the chat, too.

As American actor Jason Momoa is working the promo tour for his new movie Aquaman, a video interview has resurfaced of the moment he fell in love with his wife Lisa Bonet.

That moment was a very long time ago. When he was... eight.

The Game of Thrones and Justice League actor told The Late Late Show with James Corden of how he fell in love with his now wife watching her on The Cosby Show as a child.

“I was like, ‘Mummy, I want that one,” Momoa told James Corden on the 2017 TV appearance.

“I’m like, ‘I’m going to stalk you for the rest of my life and I’m going to get you.

“I didn’t tell her that until we had two babies, otherwise, I’d be creepy and weird. But yeah, [I’d] just always wanted to meet her. She was a queen, always”.

Luckily, Momoa and Bonet met through mutual friends in 2005, going on to have two children together.

Guess that's fate for you.

4. Oprah Winfrey has addressed her most awkward television interview of all time.

Things we often think about: climate change; when we can sleep next; wine. Things Buzzfeed writer Spencer Althouse often thinks about: "the time Oprah did a cooking segment with a woman whose chicken recipe won $1 million, and Oprah's jaw dropped when she tasted it and realised the lady didn't even add seasoning."

So much so that he posted the 2005 clip on Twitter.

And fair enough.

Poor Anna Ginsberg was proud of her award-winning Chicken and Spinach Stuffing recipe when she took on The Oprah Winfrey Show. But then the queen of daytime television tasted it. She started chewing, and kept chewing, and avoided eye-contact for far longer than anyone was comfortable with.

"No. Wait, no. I do... like it," she said staring down at the plate, as the audience erupted in laughter. "Did we add salt and pepper? I think we needed salt and pepper."

Now retired from the show, Oprah has enough time on her hands that she responded to Spencer's tweet with a video explaining her response that day.

"I don’t know whatever made you pull that tape out of the vault, but it made me laugh,” she said.

“Here’s the deal, this is what I was thinking. I always wanted anybody who came on the show no matter what they did to have a good experience. And I also wanted to stay in my own truth while also allowing them to have a good experience.

“So I was having a moment of trying to decide, ‘Do I want her to have a great time, what is my real moment of truth?’ Because the truth, for me, was that I am used to having salt and pepper on my chicken."
