One AFL couple has used the Brownlow red carpet to make a beautiful announcement.
Hawthorn captain Jaryd Roughead and wife Sarah are expecting their first child.
“One has a belly full of beer ???? the other has a belly full of baby,” Sarah wrote on Instagram.
The exciting news comes under a year after the footy player was given the all clear from cancer after undergoing treatment for aggressive melanoma.
The couple had been married just six months when Roughead received the diagnosis.
After taking a year off from football to beat the cancer, the 29-year-old returned this year to captain Hawthorn.
