Hollywood star's stark video warning to kidnappers who 'took' his friend's daughter.

Efforts to find missing Hollywood child Jade Logue have stepped up as Sons of Anarchy actor Danny Trejo sends a message pleading whoever took the teenage girl to “drop her off”.

Donal Logue, who also starred in the hit crime-drama series, has been searching for his missing 16-year-old daughter since she was last seen in New York City on Monday 26 June.

While the 51-year-old’s impassioned pleas via Twitter and Facebook have so far focussed on both on urging Jade to come home and for anyone with her to bring her home, his friend Trejo’s video message appears to be aimed at abductors.

"Whoever has Jade, I want to plead with you, please just drop her off - anywhere. She'll find her way home," the 73-year-old says in a clip uploaded to Donal Logue's Twitter.

"It's got a lot bigger than you thought. And I know that you don't want to get the people that you're dealing with in trouble, so please just drop her off. There'll be no questions asked."

In Donal's most recent Facebook post, he implies Jade, who is transgender, may have been taken by people she knew.

"I love her and who she is and her tribe is strong (I've met many wonderful people through Jade), but there are some predators who swim among their ranks knowing they're dealing with sweet, trusting souls," he wrote.

On Twitter he also retweeted a message from Fox News with a hotline people in the US can call, reiterating that Jade was not a runaway.

Other celebrity friends of Donal have also stepped in to help raise awareness via social media in the last few days, including Olivia Wilde and Mark Ruffalo.

Meanwhile Jade's mother Kasey Smith has shared several photos of her daughter on Twitter and begged her to come home.

"Jade Logue. Beautiful, gentle, loving soul. Come home please baby. You are loved and missed," she wrote next to an image of Jade when she was younger.
