Isabel Lucas rose to fame on Home and Away. Now she's about to become a mum.

Former Home and Away star Isabel Lucas has announced she's expecting her first child.

The 40-year-old actress shared the news on Instagram on Sunday night, showing off her baby bump in a series of photos.

In one image, Lucas cradles her bump as she stands in front of the ocean. In another, she shares a kiss with her partner, filmmaker Cyrus Sutton.

"Sometimes words flow and sometimes the mystery is too vast and all that remains, is to feel," Lucas wrote.

"A new forever exists here. Among petals of silent wonder and pure love.

"Together we hold this miracle with tender heartful hands."

"Beautiful," Sutton added.

While Lucas didn't share how far along she is, friends and fans quickly flooded the post with congratulations, including Elyse Knowles and Sam Frost.

Fellow Australian actress Teresa Palmer, who recently welcomed a little girl, wrote, "Can't wait to see you as a mother and for these little babies to be together. We love you guys."

Lucas got her big break in 2003, starring as Tasha Andrews on Home and Away. It was during her time in Summer Bay that she met Chris Hemworth, whom she dated from 2005 to 2008 before relocating to Los Angeles.

A year later, she landed her first film role in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (2009), which earned her the Scream Award for Best Breakout Performance — Female. She went on to appear in Daybreakers, Red Dawn, and the MacGyver reboot.

Other big projects have included Russell Crowe's The Water Diviner, thriller film Careful What You Wish For alongside Nick Jonas and Ed Sheeran's music video for 'Give Me Love' in 2012.

In 2007, Lucas joined a group of 30 from Surfers for Cetaceans, including actress Hayden Panettiere, in Japan to protest dolphin hunting. The group was forced to flee the country to avoid arrest.

During the pandemic, Lucas also drew criticism for attending anti-vaccine rallies and publicly sharing her views opposing COVID-19 vaccines.

She later became an ambassador for Plan International Australia in 2020 but was dropped by the charity less than a month later after expressing anti-vaccine and anti-5G views.

Over the years, Lucas has been linked to Adrian Grenier and Angus Stone, but she now keeps her personal life largely private. It's not known how long she and Sutton have been together.
