1. We’ve found Married at First Sight’s Ines Basic’s audition tape… and wow.

Holy yikes.

It seems the experts knew exactly what they were doing when they dropped Ines on poor, unsuspecting, but also extremely potty-mouthed Bronson.

Her audition tape has been unearthed by KIIS FM and she’s… certainly not hiding anything in it.

Check out a snippet below:

During the short video, she reveals she wants a “muscly bad boy”, so when he holds her it’s “hot”.

She’s not shy when it comes to admitting she “loves attention” and when asked what type of partner she is, she says she’s “the annoying one” who tends to call and text her partner non-stop.

Yeah, sounds about right.

…Unless your name is Bronson and you’re her fake TV husband, in which case she would quite like absolutely nothing to do with you, please.

Later in the tape, we see a rare glimpse of her softer side, with the 28-year-old opening up about her desire to have children.

“I think I’m ready now to have children. That’s why when I see children, I’m so emotional,” she says through tears.

2. The mistake in Operation Live the Googlebox cast hilariously tore apart.

Sunday night’s “first for Australian television” — a caesarean operation airing on live TV, has been ripped into by the Gogglebox cast for it’s questionable use of the word ~live~.

Because well, it kinda… wasn’t.

The host of the Channel 7 program Melissa Doyle said in her introduction to the emotional episode: “Tonight, watch an operation in real time.

“Direct from the operating theatre you will witness the miracle of life.

“What is about to happen has never been attempted on Australian television. We are broadcasting just metres away from the operating theatre.”

But the people of Gogglebox were not buying it.

As the expectant mother was wheeled into theatre, Gogglebox fan favourite Adam noticed the clock on the wall didn’t match the airtime of 9pm.

“That clock says 20 past two, and I don’t think a clock in a hospital would be seven hours wrong,” he said to his mate Symon.

On a couch somewhere else in Australia, a confused Anastasia hilariously turned to her friend Faye and asked: “So live can mean ‘we’ve taped this while it was happening live’ … So, does that mean all TV is live?”

3. Married at First Sight’s Matthew on the real reason he was still a virgin at 29.

It’s been one hell of a journey for ex-virgin Matt and watching his audition tape, it’s pretty evident.

Appearing on the latest episode of Talking Married, viewers were shown the 29-year-old’s audition tape where he shares his reasons for going on the show, and why he held onto his V-plates into his late 20s.

“[It was] never a conscious choice to still be a virgin at 29, that was just an unfortunate side effect of me walling myself from any sort of vulnerability, being social and dating,” he said.

“It terrifies me and it’s only something I’ve recently learnt that the more something terrifies me the more important it is that I have to do it.”

Of course a lot has changed since then. As fans of the reality TV show will be aware of, Matt has since had sex with his TV bride Lauren... with the relationship spectacularly imploding last night. 

4. Daniel Radcliffe shares his favourite Harry Potter movie and tbh, it’s the worst one.

Boy wizard, Daniel Radcliffe, has shared his favourite Harry Potter film, and we have questions.

Filming a segment with Wired as part of their Autocomplete Interview series, the 29-year-old answered a series of questions determined for him by the auto-complete feature used by most search engines. Very futuristic we know.

Controversially, the actor picked Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, with Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2 coming in as a close second.

"I love the last one, but I also really love the fifth, which is not a lot of people's favourite, I kind of realise," he shared.

"I love it because of the relationship between Harry and Sirius [Black], and you get a lot of Gary Oldman in that movie.

"That was my favourite one. Probably to film as well. We had a really, really good time making that one. Five or seven, part two."

While everyone is entitled to their own opinion, this is of course incorrect, because everyone knows the best Harry Potter film is either Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone or Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, but OK... whatever you say Potter.

5. Everything we know about Jennifer and Brad Pitt's "friendship".

From dating, to marriage, to a decade post-divorce, no couple in gossip magazine history has been more discussed than Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston.

Nothing was bigger news than the pair announcing their split in a joint statement in January 2005. They did so without citing a reason, only dismissing tabloid “speculation” – i.e. that Brad had left Jen for Angelina Jolie.

It concluded with a line that has become oh-so-familiar in celebrity breakup statements: “We happily remain committed and caring friends with great love and admiration for one another.”

But while the glossies would have us believe that Brad and Jen have reunited and expecting a child (oh about 20 times already) the truth is the former lovers are now experiencing a form of that friendship they spoke of.

It just wasn’t as immediate as the pair seemingly hoped.
