Every single star just dropped into the I'm A Celebrity jungle.

I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! 2026 has officially kicked off.

For months, it's been the annual guessing game that grips the nation: who is trading their luxury lifestyle for rice, beans, and the terrifying trials of Julia Morris and Robert Irwin?

On tonight's premiere, we were painfully slowly drip-fed our celebrities, as the whole crew was divided into three groups who had to compete in different tasks to win dinner for camp.

The first involved one celeb being dropped into freezing cold water as the other two celebs had to face off against a range of creepy crawlies.

The second had four celebs hoisted in the air and suspended by a sky-high crane, as they clutched tightly to their stars. And the third group were, umm… buried alive in literal graves. Grim!

And look, it's a bit random — but that's just part of the fun!

These are all the celebs starring on I'm A Celebrity this year:

  • Luke Bateman

  • Rachel Hunter

  • Barry Williams

  • Mia Fevola

  • Rebecca Elmaloglou

  • Nath Valvo

  • Deni Hines

  • Dyson Heppell

  • Gary Sweet

  • Concetta Caristo

In a major shake-up for 2026, the show has reportedly ditched its live format for a fully pre-recorded season to cut production costs.

According to production insiders, filming reportedly wrapped in South Africa just before Christmas and to keep the winner a secret, three alternate endings were filmed — meaning the finalists themselves don't even know who won yet.

So who exactly are our celebs and what do we know about them?

Everything you need to know about the contestants on I'm A Celebrity 2026.

Gary Sweet.

Looking for a Logie-winning actor? Look no further than national treasure, Gary Sweet.

Sweet is renowned for his long-standing career in television and film. He first gained popularity in the 1990s as Sergeant Mickey McClintock in the action-drama series Police Rescue.

Throughout his career, he has appeared in massive Aussie shows like The Sullivans, Blue Heelers, Stingers and House Husbands. His talent has been recognised with several Logie Awards, including multiple wins for Most Popular Actor and Most Outstanding Actor.

In his personal life, he was famously married to actress Lenore Smith and television presenter Johanna Griggs.

Upon being dropped in the jungle, he gave host Julia Morris a big hug, as she actually played his wife in House Husbands.

A radio queen like no other, triple j's Breakfast host Concetta Caristo is set to be a real pocket rocket.

Caristo is a popular Australian comedian and radio presenter, best known for co-hosting on triple j.

After starting her career on FBi Radio, she transitioned to television with roles on Taskmaster Australia, The Weekly and The Cheap Seats.

Caristo has since co-created and hosted several podcasts. Her current show is Big Natural Talents, which she co-hosts with fellow comedian Lauren Bonner. She also hosts The Quibble Hour with her partner, comedian Ben Kochan, where they settle trivial relationship disputes.

The young star is set to charm her fellow celebs with a magnetic personality, quick wit and infectious enthusiasm. She already has a friendship with fellow comedy star, Nath Valvo.

Deni Hines.

The show's '90s pop star' is none other than Deni Hines, an acclaimed Australian singer and actress, plus the daughter of the legendary Marcia Hines.

She rose to fame in the early 1990s, fronting The Rockmelons with hits like 'Ain't No Sunshine' and 'That Word (L.O.V.E.)' before launching a solo career which created the ARIA Award-winning smash 'It's Alright'.

On television, she has appeared in Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries, The Celebrity Apprentice, and competed on Dancing with the Stars.

The funny guy set to have "the jungle in stitches" is Nath Valvo, a popular Australian comedian and screenwriter known for his high-energy hilarious performances.

His career soared with a Best Newcomer nomination at the 2016 Edinburgh Fringe before winning Best Comedy at the 2018 Adelaide Fringe. He also received a Melbourne International Comedy Festival Award nomination for his show I'm Happy For You.

Valvo's TV credits include hosting Just For Laughs Australia and he's been a panellist on The Project, The 100 and Spicks and Specks.

He joked in the premiere that he joined the show "because I'm poor, stand-up comedy does not pay well!"

Rebekah Elmaloglou.

Did someone order 'soap royalty' this season? Rebekah Elmaloglou is a beloved Australian soap actress. She is most known for playing Sophie Simpson on Home and Away and Terese Willis on Neighbours — a role she played from 2013 to 2025.

Her career began as a child in Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome in 1985 and she went on to star alongside Russell Crowe in The Sum of Us and guest-starred in A Country Practice. She is married to Kane Baker and is famously the cousin of Dame Judi Dench. Yes, really.

Barry Williams.

I'm A Celebrity has been struck by a touch of old Hollywood with 71-year-old Barry 'Bazza' Williams included in the cast. Williams is an American actor best known for playing Greg Brady on The Brady Bunch aka meet our "Hollywood sitcom star."

Beyond his iconic role, Williams enjoyed a huge career in musical theatre, starring in productions like Pippin and Grease. He also appeared on General Hospital and Dancing with the Stars.

Notably, he had a teenage romance with Brady Bunch co-star Maureen McCormick (we expect him to spill that tea in the jungle!) and was married to Diane Martin, Eila Mary Matt and he is still with his current wife Tina Mahina.

Bazza got the biggest reaction from the other celebs, who couldn't believe they were living with 'a Brady Bunch kid!'.

Mia Fevola.

Mia's identity was hinted at with the 'jungle princess' clue, as she is following in the footsteps of her jungle king stepfather, Brendan Fevola, who won the show in 2016.

Mia is an internet personality, influencer and prominent Australian model. She has built a successful career in the fashion industry, working as a model and ambassador for brands like Runway Room.

She is a successful business owner with a large social media following.

On the premiere, Mia defeated her fear of freezing water by competing in a terrifying challenge.

Luke Bateman.

The Rugby League Romeo joining I'm A Celeb 2026 is none other than former Canberra Raiders NRL player, Luke Bateman, who is also famously known as The Bachelor from 2023. Double the reality TV drama, double the fun.

Plus, he's a major star on social media thanks to his #Booktok content.

Last week, Luke shared an Instagram video announcing his involvement in the show.

"In some very exciting news, I'll be trading the Australian outback for the African jungle," he said.

"I'm very excited to see what Robert (Irwin) and Julia (Morris) have cooked up for me. I'm sure there'll be some delectable food items and some fear-instilling trials."

"I can't wait," he said.

If his time as a professional athlete and on The Bachelor taught him anything about surviving high-pressure situations, he might just have the edge needed to be crowned King of the Jungle, as he raises money for his charity, Farm Angels.

On the premiere, Luke managed to be the only camper to get the fire going, so he's already proving to be indispensable to the group.

Rachel Hunter.

The rumours were true, and the "international supermodel" teaser finally has a name: the legendary Rachel Hunter.

After decades of dominating the fashion world — headlining global covers for Vogue and Sports Illustrated — Rachel has swapped the high-octane glitz of the runway for a deeply grounded life as a yoga and meditation teacher.

But don't let the Zen exterior fool you; Rod Stewart's ex-wife is trading her spiritual retreats for a far more rugged reality of bug repellent and camp cots, as she hopes to make money for Little Wings.

The international icon opened up about her short-lived marriage to Stewart on the first episode, along with why she hasn't dated in over a decade.

Dyson Heppell.

Joining them in the wild is AFL royalty Dyson Heppell, who's officially trading the MCG turf for the jungle floor and hoping to raise funds for Very Special Kids.

One of the youngest captains in Essendon's history, Dyson is no stranger to high-pressure leadership, though he'll soon find that "tackling" takes on a whole new meaning in the wild.

He's got the grit, the leadership, and the cause — now we just have to see if those captaincy skills can keep a camp of hungry celebrities in line.

Who is going to win I'm A Celebrity 2026?

There are a few standouts from the premiere, with the likes of Rebekah Elmaloglou, Deni Hines and Luke Bateman all coming across as the kind of celebs who could be winning material.

Of course, it's still early days! Stay tuned to find out!
